Chubby's Pizza — Restaurant in Charleston

Pizza is great and love their breadsticks, every previous time I’ve ordered, it went smoothly. Wait time is never too long either. But tonight, service was way different. I called, was instantly put on hold, that’s fine, was on hold for 5ish minutes, then told again to continue to stay on hold, that’s fine too. Then I got hung up on. Mistakes happen. Call again, busy line. Waited and called, busy line again. After a few more times of getting a busy line, I got through, just to be put on hold. Was on hold for going on 15 minutes, before I decided enough was enough and hung up.

It has never been like this before so maybe there was an emergency or something, but I don’t know. Chubby’s is my and will continue to be my go to for late night bites, and I will continue ordering from here. Giving 3 stars because I genuinely have had a great experience...

So...this was my first time in town, first time ordering from this place. I was happy they were open late. I ordered wings that were priced on the Google menu at $7.29 (for 10) but was informed upon ordering that they were actually $8.25 before sauce & tax, $10.55 total. When my food arrived, I was disappointed at the wings; the pictures speak for themselves. Not worth the money. In addition, I left a tip to the delivery driver (who came in a timely manner, called me to let me know they were outside, etc) but failed to say thank you for the tip. Its the little things that count. ASIDE from the terrible wings, I ordered a sandwich that tasted good 👍🏾. I'm not saying I wouldn't order from here again, but I know not to order the wings. Very good pizza Taste ! Just be careful and check your food and make sure its not full of hair. I went there for my daughter bday pizza and 2 of the extra large pizzas had hair in them at first I thought it was cheese because they give a great amount of cheese but the hair was long and then it was short hair also....I took the pizzas back and they wanted to to make them over but I notice no one wears hair nets I refused and just walked out its unsanitary and they didn't want to refund my pizzas.but I couldn't eat hairy pizza so good place just be...
