Whoever the manager was who worked today, was abysmal. Attitude from the start. We are visiting from Florida and we’ve been getting the same drink for several years with no issue. We get the dragonfruit refresher with no add in, sometimes they charge extra, sometimes they don’t- so I expect it. I told the cashier (who was great and kind) my order, and the manager told him to stop so he can look at it. My 9 dollar total turned to 10 and that’s usually about what we pay for two drinks so I paid. The manager looked again and got upset because he said the total should have been 15 bucks. He told the cashier to refund the order and charge it correctly then began huffing and puffing and he started to make the drink. He then screamed at the cashier “make sure he knows that this will be the final time we do this, WE DON’T DO THIS!!” I told them to forget it and to just refund my money.
To the manager, was all that attitude worth it? Do you feel good about yourself? Why are you acting like I’m somehow scamming you out of money? Like I’m taking it directly from your own pocket?? You should be embarrassed and if you hate your job that much then leave. I’ve been getting this drink for YEARS and have never been treated like a damn criminal. I would have been fine paying the extra money for what we wanted, but your nasty attitude and your smart mouth made me walk out. Learn how to treat people. I was just telling my spouse how hospitable Charleston is and THIS was our first interaction on our trip....
Read moreThis was my second time trying this location… Absolutely terrible all around! Yesterday, I went and spent $25 on a cup did not get the free coffee that is supposed to come with the purchase of one of their cups and then when I did get it, it was barely halfway full.. the manager heard me asking the employee if they could fill it the rest of the way (which I told them I would happily pay for them to do), the manager came over and asked what the problem was…and proceeded to tell me I needed to just talk to him (the manager) directly next time, don’t try and speak to the employees because they don’t know anything!! Today I went back to give them another chance.. I originally went thru the drive thru and then when I went inside (because my coffee was disgusting) they acted like I was bothering them…I asked them to please add another pump of swirl in my coffee and when she handed me the coffee back the ENTIRE outside of the cup had coffee dripping down the side and then when I asked for a new cup I got more attitude! When I went back out to my car I dumped my coffee from their cup into my personal Dunkin cup, it was full of coffee grinds which makes sense as to why it was so gross!!! They need to do some serious training on customer service and common...
Read moreThis is my second time coming to the west ashley location and it is always so chaotic and there's no organization, everyone is standing around joking and laughing. Even the manager wasn't organizing anything. I don't think anyone really knew what they were doing at this location. 10 employees and it took me almost 45 minutes to get my stuff. I ordered a cookie dough frapp, frozen coffee drink, I get it and it was over flowing so instead of cleaning it up and pouring it into another cup she just puts in another cup so it was double cupped and very messy and it tasted HORRIBLE. They remade it and it still was terrible. I dont know his name but the only white employee that they had on staff that morning who was making all the breakfast sandwiches asked me what I was waiting on, because I was still there, so he went and made a regular mocha and it was delicious. Even the 5 young ladys making the drinks, 1 had to ask for help and she literally said I don't know what I'm doing. DOES ANYONE TAKE THIER WORK SERIOUSLY ANYMORE?? DOES ANYONE GET TRAINED ANYMORE???
