This is going to be long, but I had a very very negative experience and don't want to leave out any details.
Would give zero stars if I could...TERRIBLE customer service from one employee in particular. I don't know what she looks like because the two times I dealt with her was in the drive thru, but she sounds like an older white lady.
First time I was ordering two iced coffees and a donut. So I order my first iced coffee and without asking if that was all she tells me to pull up to the window. So I say that I'm not finished and start telling her the rest of my order. She INTERRUPTS me to tell me that she "thought my order was going to be simple" and that I needed to wait so she could assist a customer at the counter. I don't mind waiting...seriously. I'm not one to complain about having to wait because a place is busy. But don't start taking my order and then make me feel like an inconvenience because you don't have time management skills. Just tell me to wait beforehand! I peel out of the drive thru (I was the only car btw) and call the manager the next day to complain.
About a week later I was in the drive thru again and the same lady comes over the speaker. I start telling her my order (same order as the week before) and she interrupts me AGAIN and says "hold on hold on, I thought it was going to be easy. I'm doing something in the back...." I was literally speechless. Twice in one week this lady asks me for my order only to stop me to tell me it's too complicated. So I said "excuse me?" And she immediately starts trying to explain that she's busy...she thought I was mad at having to wait and was seemingly clueless at how rude she was being. At this point I am 100 percent done and so I leave empty handed again. This time I called the store about ten minutes later and spoke directly to this individual (she has some sort of supervisor position) and let her know exactly how I felt about her customer service.
As long as this person is employed at this location I will drive out of my way to the West Ashley location for my coffee. And management knows this lady is an issue....

As others have mentioned, coffee is so oversugared and creamed to make it near undrinkable. Donuts frequently stale.
While I've had "decent" experiences in the drive thru, the last two times I've visited, I've gone inside during non-peak afternoon hours. The first time, I was the only person in the store and from the moment the employee began interacting with me (since it certainly couldn't be called a greeting, didn't even respond when I asked how she was doing), I was treated like a huge inconvenience. Put a bad taste in my mouth but shrugged it off as maybe just a middling employee having a really bad day.
I just left after my 2nd visit inside and apparently this is just what passes as customer service at this location. The two people in front of me were perfectly nice but were treated with unbelievable condescension and rudeness. Any question by the first customer was met with a smarta** answer and any hesitation in her decision-making was greeted with undue impatience. Once she finished, the employee mistook the 2 customers as together and turned her attention to me but the second person stepped up to indicate he was ordering separately. Really not a big deal (I thought they were together too) but the employee responded so defensively, placing unnecessary blame on us and away from her, and then made sure to further express her impatience with, I don't know, having to do her job? Once again indicating how inconvenient the customers are to the employees here.
After watching her with the two customers in front of me, I had absolutely no interest in being treated the same way, let alone commit money to this establishment, so I turned around and left. Jaw-droppingly bad customer service.
I might give them one more shot (3 strikes after all) but it will be some time before I do. Want to give them an opportunity for some necessary employee turnover or at least some kind of customer...
Read moreTERRIBLE SERVICE!! AVOID this place every time, no matter what. I’ve ordered through the mobile app 4 times now for take-out and every time they have missed multiple items in my order. Each of these times when I ask the staff for the missing items I paid for, they treat me like I’m annoying them and making them do work.. The work they should have already done. Today, I placed the mobile order at 7:35am, went to pick it up ~8:05am, giving them plenty of time. I did this on purpose in hopes my order would be ready when I arrive. When I arrived, there was nothing in the mobile pick up station, so naturally I had to wait for someone to acknowledge me because they weren’t paying attention to any of the customers.. After a few minutes they finally ask me if I needed anything. I said I have a mobile pick up order, the guy looked around and handed me a bag and walked away immediately. Of course, I check the bag and it had only 2 of the 6 items I ordered.. Again, I have to wait for someone’s attention. I inform what seems to be the manager I’m missing items. She had the ticket for my order sitting right in front of her.. 2 of the 4 items they missed were donuts and a coffee. How does Dunkin’ Donuts miss donuts and coffee..? That’s what they do. Anyways, she brought me the donuts, no coffee. Had to ask for it. The other two items were bakery items so the manager lady informed the same guy who handed me the original bag to make the bakery items. I waited for probably another 5 minutes while this guy continued to make other people’s food instead of mine.. Again, had to wait to get someone’s attention. So I informed the lady manager of my missing bakery items and she yelled to the staff “Make this guy’s food so we can get him outta here!” .. loud enough for the entire place to hear, as if they were annoyed with me for asking for the $20+ worth of items I had already paid for. Don’t go here and support this place, ever. Hopefully upper...
