Expect unexpected charges, especially if you are replacing or buying a new phone here. My bill was $90 a month, reasonable. After purchasing an upgraded phone my next bill was $163 ($36 a month was the new phone charge) and the following month $223. They tell you you have to sign up for auto withdrawal so If there is an error it is on you to get your money back. The customer service on the website does not exist, no one will answer, I still haven't received a call back(10 hours ago) and the chat is a computer automated system. Good luck, and take a day off work if you have an issue. I went to the store to resolve the issue and they couldn't explain the charges and told me to or they could try customer service. Obviously I didn't want to sit in that store for three days on hold. The trade in for you old phone only applies a certain amount each month so there wasn't a contract but I would only get credit for my old phone if I stayed with them for the 30 month payoff period. Check you receipt (no credit will be on there, that was my first sign something was wrong) and tell them you want the credit now not spread over 30 months any they will tell you they can't do that. I'm still trying to get an explanation of charges. I paid the phone off in full due to their accounting errors so I could change providers but lost the $300 trade in value. If you purchase a new phone and realize your being taken there is a 60 lock on your simm card so you can't switch companies unless you want a new phone number or buy a phone from the new provider. Verizon is becoming the Comcast of cell service...
Read moreWhile on a wonderful labor day vacation, my phone was taken from me. I JUST replaced that phone through insurance maybe a month ago. I'm not sure which emotion was more powerful, the disbelief, the anger, the stress, the fear... I thought this would be the end for me. It was 7:30pm. I called this Verizon to see if they had phones in stock in the hopes of getting a replacement. Luckily they were open until 9, so we rushed over and Robbie was my knight in shining business casual wear. He broke the news that if I filed a claim, I wouldn't have a phone for at least 2 days. I fearfully asked how much a new phone would be. This angel of a man looked into it and informed me that I could go from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 13 for basically free. He even did the math right in front of my eyes. I don't know math, but he had a small duck on his polo and from that I knew I could trust him. Not 2 hours after losing my phone, I had a brand new, upgraded iPhone in hand, with a new case and screen protector. God bless you Robbie for saving the weekend, and my life. Alejandro was also there helping keep me in good spirits when I thought these were my final moments on earth. Good guys, good service, and as...
Read moreRecently, my iPhone 15 Pro Max, originally purchased at Verizon/Folly Road, w/ help of Spencer Meredith, was destroyed. I filed my insurance replacement thru Asurian and rec'd a new phone four days later. Unfortunately, the transfer of all of my information to my new 15 Pro Max did not go well. I spent three consecutive nights, at two hours each, w/ three different Tech Coaches (the highest level of tech assistance at Asurian) to get my needed info. It was a disaster and I never got back my needed data. Asurian was and is useless. So, I returned to the Verizon Store and met w/ my salesperson, Spencer Meredith, again. Within, 35 minutes, Spencer located and transferred my needed contact list and the 5600 messages back to my new phone. Spencer also updated everything in my new phone. Spencer is the real deal. Incredible personal service and industry knowledge in an industry that is, generally, made up of fast talking, no nothing, liars and dimwits. It you have any interest in new phones or service contact Spencer Meredith. You will not be...
