We really enjoyed our visit to the brewery side. Tried a couple of their seltzer cocktails and were impressed! I also had the oatmeal stout and it was also very good, but it did need to sit a bit to warm up (imho stouts should be served a bit warmer than lagers and ales) and let some of the carbonation out. Interesting point to note though is that they do not do flights.? That would be a nice addition. For sure it's a very nice setting and they have what smelled like very good coffee as well. Plus there is the distillery which we have not yet been to. Check it out next time you are on John's Island!

Pros: Rain or shine Estuary has indoor and outdoor space for everyone. Upstairs low and high top tables and one set of Cornhole. Great for kids. Canned local Southeast soda from GA. Bakery items to go with your coffee. Specialty coffees in large supply. Soft pretzels. Food trucks daily. Beautiful pergola, string lights, greenery, and fire pit near the outdoor stage. Cons: no in-house meals. Too many good choices. Only 5 minutes from home if you live on Johns Island. Kid-friendly, dog-friendly. ...I guess there aren't many cons 😉.

This is easily one of my favorite breweries in Charleston. Estuary does everything they do with finesse, poise, and excellence. The coffee here is roasted in house, which makes all the difference in the world. The beer here is flavorful and effervescent. The patio area is cozy and inside the brewery is an area most aptly described as chill. The bartenders are super nice and willing to talk with you about which beer to get. Definitely make this a stop if you're in the area and support them when you see their beer in stores.

This place is absolutely beautiful and so clean which is always a plus. I was so excited to see such a beautiful venue open up on John's Island, and the natural fires are great to enjoy with friends. I really thought this would be my new go to spot with my husband. However, the three times we have gone the staff members have seemed highly irritated by us ordering drinks which made me think twice about asking to sample anything. Beautiful place, good beer, and worth a visit just don't expect a really...
