Firehouse Subs Roper Hospital — Restaurant in Charleston

I would give 0 stars if I could. My family visited The Firehouse Subs on Dec 19th at 11:45 am at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC and encountered the most badly behaved women, 3 of them. They made faces, rolled their eyes and were condescending and just flat out hateful. I feel like it was a clear treatment of racism against white people. They looked and treated us with complete disgust and all we did was ask for help with the kiosk. They need to keep in mind there are sick and dying family members here at the hospital and we have been through a lot and some of us have traveled long distances to be here. If this behavior is allowed it must be accepted company wide. I will make sure every person I talk to knows about this. I will never frequent this establishment ever again at any location. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. We deserve an apology from these young uneducated women and from the company. You need to be careful who you treat badly. Some of us are very well...

Firehouse would be ashamed of the sub these girls put together! I ordered the medium steak and cheese sub. There was only enough meat and peppers to cover the middle of the bread. 6 days in a hospital because my husband has double pneumonia. I haven't had much to eat so when I found out Firehouse Subs was now downstairs I was excited & hungry. When I got back to the room and opened my sub I was no longer excited or happy. This was a bread sandwich. Who ever is over the Roper Hospital store need to retrain their employees on how to make the subs under the Firehouse name. My father was a retired firefighter in Charleston for years. I respect the company for its about firefighters and their appetites around the Firehouse table! Do better people. Just leaving a note here that this Firehouse Subs kept me alive while my mom recovered from surgery for over a week. The workers were friendly and the manager (didn’t catch his name!) is extremely polite and welcoming. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and a good alternative to the cafeteria.
