Literally do not understand why this restaurant has any good reviews. Firstly, the man who took our order was really impolite and inpatient. Secondly, the food was absolutely terrible. We ordered three hot dogs, fries, and a corn dog. The hotdogs were stiff and cold in the middle. Tasted nothing like all-beef (I won’t even compare them to Costco dogs). The buns were weirdly chewy in an awful way. The coleslaw on top was bland and the chili doesn’t deserve the name. French fries were dry and lukewarm at best. The one star is for the corn dog because that was actually edible. I’m not by any means a picky eater, I love good ole Ball Park hotdogs and Aldi buns. Those are 1000% better than Jack’s. I love love love love love this place. The service, atmosphere, food and drinks, and of course the dogs themselves are all a 10/10. Everyone working is always super kind and personable, never afraid to go above and Beyoncé. They have options for meat dog lovers as well as meat free lovers. The blue cheese coleslaw is soooooo good and I think about it all the time, so unique and delicious! Tangy and mouldy and the flavors dance on my tongue. Many will try to recreate it but none will ever succeeded. I will eat jacks at jacks, at the beach, at the movies, on the porch, the options are endless but when I have a jacks dog in my hand and mouth I feel at home no matter where I am.
