The teenagers working at this particular location NEED MAJOR TRAINING in customer service.
We were not greeted at the door upon arrival because five of them were at the back of the establishment occupied by their cellphones. There were two young ladies working up front and only three of us customers in the store at the time (about five minutes later, more customers came in).
The young lady (Tauni, name on receipt) who assisted me was beyond rude and NOT very knowledgeable on cup sizes. I paid $3.49 for a frozen strawberry chiller. She put it in a small cup and I reminded her nicely that I paid for a medium cup. She insisted that what she gave me was a medium cup. I asked her to let me see what a small cup looked like since she said that the cup she'd given me was a medium cup. She was UNABLE to find a small cup because what she had already given me was SMALL and NOT MEDIUM, which is what I paid for. She got an attitude with me because I questioned her. I explained to her that I am a PAYING CUSTOMER, who did not receive what I paid for. She called one of her co-workers over who then told her that what she had given me was a SMALL cup, not the MEDIUM cup that I paid $3.49 for. Her attitude turned mean & petty and she yelled at me and said do you want a large cup and I responded, I want what I paid for. She took the small cup and preceded to empty the contents in a larger cup. I nicely (it was hard to maintain my composure with being treated this way, but I told myself that she had not been properly trained, therefore, I must remain calm, yet firm about what's right) asked her to give me a FRESH beverage altogether. That angered her even more, but I held firm with dignity and decided that this treatment/behavior must be reported. This teenaged worker placed a "wet blanket" on what was supposed to be a happy experience at Krispy Kreme. I PRAY that someone from management or corporate contacts me IMMEDIATELY. Thank...

I ordered two dozen donuts on their website prior to going into work on a Thursday at 6:00 AM. I showed up at 6:25 and walked to the front door where the sign said to go through the drive thru. There were only four cars in front of me. I waited at the drive thru for 25 minutes. During that time, I tried to call the restaurant three times in hopes that they could bring out the donuts I ordered almost an hour prior and nobody answered either time.
Finally, there was only one car in front of me, but it took 5 minutes for someone to even come to the window. At this point I was going to be 15 minutes late for work, so I went around the car in front of my and left, donut-less.
I called three times throughout the day to try to get a refund and still, no one answered. Out of desperation, I called the Krispy Kreme towards North Charleston and explained what happened. The manager said she would text the manager at the restaurant I ordered from to cancel my order.
Iâm normally a very patient person. However, I work at a hospital where I relieve the previous shift worker, so being 20 minutes late isnât an option. I know weâre in a time where staffing is difficult, but at that time I believe most people would be in a bit of a rush to get to work, so waiting 30+ minutes for food that was ordered ahead of time is just unacceptable. Not answering the phone is even worse.
Do yourself a favor and skip this location if youâre looking for donuts or really anything and you donât have an hour to spare. Completely unacceptable service...
Read moreNormally a great spot and good service. However, today when I arrived it was very busy and so I file suit and get in line. I wait my turn and when I am up to the register I ordered an original glaze latte and the cashier's response was "sorry we're out of original glaze". Ok, no problem. I'm flexible. I'll just order a different flavor. So I proceed to order a caramel latte, to which the response is "sorry we're out of caramel". I said ok, well how about an original glazed regular large coffee and again I am met with "sorry we're out". So as a last ditch effort for some coffee I ask for a regular plain old large coffee. The cashier obliges and hands me my coffee. I go to the self serve station to fix my coffee to my liking and to my absolute amazment, there is NO creamer. I ask someone else behind the counter if they could please grab some creamer for the coffee station. As she starts to look, I hear another worker tell her there is no creamer, they are out! Ok, really!!!! Why not just post that you don't have the necessities to make a regular cup of coffee. I would not have stood in line had I known ahead of time that they were out of most of their coffee supplies. Well, to my surprise, one worker scrounged up some half and half that I could use. Finally, my coffee hunt has ended and I have the perfect cup of coffee to enjoy. Then to my dismay, the second I tried to drink from my cup, the lid flew off and now there is coffee EVERYWHERE in my car! Needless to say, I am not very happy with my experience this morning. Not saying that Krispy Kreme is a bad establishment, just saying a heads up of a lack of supplies would be nice. Oh, and maybe look into a better cup for holding...
