Original Joey's Place — Restaurant in Charleston

Placed an order for pick up and was very rushed on the phone. Orders 2 sandwiches waffle fries mozzarella sticks and 2 sprites. I get there 1st there was no Sprite. That's fine just wish I would've been told when I ordered them. I pay go out to the car and check the other I have 2 curly fries instead of waffle fries and mozzarella sticks. I go back in and tell him he rudely says well we don't have waffle fries. I said the menu says you do...Well we can't get them anymore. Now I'm irritated bc he's being rude and borderline yelling at me. I said then why didn't you tell me this on the phone. No apology I said I'm still missing mozzarella sticks he goes and drops them in the fryer. When he comes back shoves the bag at me.... worst customer service ever. And I get home to eat and the marinara is awful it was red water with chunks in it completely...

Sure has went down hill!! The gyro was over cooked and crispy hard. Horrible... The cheese sticks were cold and stiff.. basically spent 25$ and everything except the onion rings was pathetic! When I went to get my wife's sandwich corrected he acked like I was the cook that messed up the order,and it was him that did. On our way out she went to the bathroom and was throwing our trash away. She came out and before I showed her how gross the outside of the trash can was she said she couldn't believe the health department has not shut them down due to the blood on the lady's bathroom floor and how dirty the place was... Probably why we were the only ones there on a Friday night at 6:30. I used to love this place but I clearly see it's the next business that's shutting down in...

Orderd food for my family, for delivery. Italian beef, combo, and 4 fries. Once we revived the food, my husband paid them, and started handing out the food. We revived 4 fires and one cheese burger. So I called and explained what happened. The man who answered the phone was rude, saying it wasn't their fault but the delivery drivers fault and our food was infrount of him. 25 minutes later the driver comes back to get the cheese burger so it can go to the correct house, and get our food from that house. No way am I going to give my family food from lord knows who's house, that has been sitting around.

I've been in food service industry and no way are you supposed to give people food from another's house. I'm very disappointed and will not...
