So I've always heard the term "greasy spoon" applied to small, (usually) family-run, restaurants that serve good, comfort food to local clientele. I don't know if The Grill is "family-run", but it IS small, it DOES serve good, comfort food, and it seemed most of the customers were locals. This place is a leteral hole-in-the-wall, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, eatery. It could be neater or fancier, but that's not what's important at The Grill. The entrance doesnt look like it leads into a restaurant, but that just adds to the "hole in the wall" feel.
