â Atmosphere: 4/5
This is a small but inviting spot to enjoy your morning coffee. The space includes a handful of tables and a bar seating area that runs along the counter. Thereâs a cool, modern vibe with light wood finishes and a splash of teal on the walls. Soft music plays in the background, adding to the relaxing mood. The large front windows let in lots of natural light, making it a pleasant place to sit for a bitâwhether youâre meeting a friend or flying solo. Outside, the umbrella-covered sidewalk tables give off a relaxed, urban cafĂ© feel.

đ„ Service: 3/5
The service was efficient but not especially warm. Orders were taken and made correctly, but there wasnât much interaction or hospitality from the staff. It wasnât unfriendlyâbut just a bit impersonal.

đŽ Food & Drink: 4/5

The cafĂ© also offers a selection of creative drinks (like the Velvet Elvis and Cold Brew Mule) and a cold case with snacks and light food options, though I didnât try anything else...
Read moreWithout a doubt the best cafe in Charleston. There are three Mea Cuppas, this location is more of a lounge cafe, great for hanging solo for working at the bar or for meeting a friend by the couches. Best quality coffee in town, the owner is a former 'bucks exec and clearly puts his everything into the business. Great beans (including decaf), tasty breakfast and lunch items, awesome pastries, high quality teas, and most important of all, the best staff. This cafe has a chill vibe and a whole host of regulars, and once you come visit you'll see why, staff are always on point (shout-out Chelsea). There are two smaller locations at the Capitol Market and the library as well, same delicious coffee but different physical setup for those spots. Must visit for any coffee lovers in and...
Read moreOur first visit, and we ordered Turkish Coffee and a WV special, with maple and cinnamon, I believe, a cinnamon roll and an herb and cheese bread knot. Absolutely everything was delicious; the drinks flavorful but not overpowering, the cinnamon roll and bread knot fresh and slightly warmed in the microwave upon my request, making them melt in the mouth amazing. (Strongly recommend this step) Another nice touch was the bread stuffs were served on nice danish plates and accompanied by real silverware. The interior is clean and bright, with some shelves containing local gifts, souvenirs and tasty take home products. The window seat was perfect for sitting in the sun on a cool Autumn afternoon, and colorful plush seating paired with cafe tables and chairs finished out our...
