Municipal Auditorium — Attraction in Charleston

We bought certain tickets to Nick Jr Live and they moved our seats. We didn't know until we got there. We bought tickets so we knew the kids could see but they stuck us downstairs almost all the way to the right, we couldn't see anything on the right side of the stage. Grown men sat in front of the girls so they had to stand or sit on our laps! We paid $130.30 for 4 seats where we knew for a fact no one would be in front of them and they could see the entire stage!! This was my second time to visit here and will be our last visit here for anything!! I expect a phone call from someone to explain why we got moved and was told to seat where we were. There were better seat on the floor but we weren't...

We had tickets to see Foreigner. I had never been to the Municipal Auditorium for a concert but was pleasantly surprised. The acoustics in the theatre were excellent, the seats comfortable and attendants kept the flow of people moving orderly in and out. It was clean enough that I could put our programs under the seat in front us without worrying about them getting dirty. Parking was a breeze at the Town Center Mall, we just walked across the street to the concert. Getting out was just as easy. I actually enjoyed the show better here than other concerts I have attended at the Civic Center because we completely avoided the traffic...

The concert was awesome. But they set up at one end away from the entrance and the tickets being sold was not near the entrance and some people didn't buy tickets and just went in. We bought tickets and no one was taking the tickets. So they weren't getting all the money due them. They had students from different schools ( This was the all county band concert) and all these students were doing was handing out programs, they should of been taking tickets to make sure everyone was paying. There should of been 2 tables selling tickets and students should of requested...
