Their customer service is less than poor. Their cooks burn the biscuits, sausage, bacon, ect. If you're in the drive thru, make sure to ask how long you'll be waiting. In June, I waited 9 minutes in the drive thru (during lunch) for a chicken sandwich. They didn't tell me I would be waiting that long. It upset me so I went in and spoke to the manager. She called me Miss and apologized for the wait without hesitation. I snapped back with "Excuse me?!?! This beard doesn't signify I'm a man?" I said I'd never come back after that. I mean really, how high are you to mistaken me as a woman? It's not as if was wearing a dress and we were at the circus.
So today, I stopped there 30 minutes ago, bought a Ron, waited 4 minutes in drivethru before the window opens. I pay and the girl says "they (cooks) just put sausage on the grill, pull around to Gino's and we'll bring it over". I asked how long that will be (from previous experience) she says "5-10 minutes".
No thanks! Ill take a refund. Its breakfast time, your cooks should've had it on the grill before the last 5 pieces were ordered. I used to work in the restaurant industry, don't give me excuses about a rush.
Every. Single. Time. I come to this location they're not prepared, the service is half assed, food is slopped together, biscuit is practically a scone, and they don't offer the same specials that other locations offer (5 for $5.99, or $5 combo w/ tater rounds advertised on tv).
Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me. I WILL NOT come back to this location again. I can garuantee that. I'll take my money to the Kanawha City location...
Read moreOnce again a disappointment- I stopped on my way to work this morning, hoping it would not be a headache- I should have known better. I ordered the same thing I always do, a Big Tater with Gravy (bacon and sausage as the meat)- and once again, I get to work and its missing the sausage and had maybe a spoonful of gravy on it. What makes it even worse is I was using a comp coupon that Ray mailed me because of my last visit to a Tudors being a total disappointment as well. I get to the window and present the coupon and still was charged an additional almost $3. I told the girl what I ordered was the same exact thing I ordered the last time, which was wrong, hence the comp coupon. Her reply, "and? What you ordered last time doesn't have anything to do with today so do you want it or not?" Needless to say, this will be the LAST time I give Tudors the benefit of the doubt. Their employees are rude as can be, they treat customers like they are inconveniencing them by even ordering and clearly they aren't willing to actually do their job and prepare an order correctly. And this is the norm for every location I have visited, Marmet-Malden-Kanawha City and Cross Lanes. Negative stars should be an option, because one star is...
Read moreThe food here is good! The biscuits are amazing tasting and huge!!! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. My family frequents this establishment quite often. The staff is friendly. I'm not sure what the inside is like as we go through the drive through and take our meals either to work or back home. For breakfast they have a wide variety of biscuits all named in a unique name. The miner has hashbrown, bacon and melty cheese on it. There is a Tudie that has shaved country ham. Yummy! The BLT is a good choice as is the sausage biscuit. For lunch they have sandwiches like fried bologna, ham, bbq, hamburgers and hotdogs too. For dinner they have baked steak, open faced roast beef, meatloaf, country fried chicken.... these meals come in a platter with mashed potatoes, corn, greenbeans, or other sides a biscuit and lots of yummy gravy!!! I highly recommend that you eat here. If you are a local and have not you are really missing out. If you are a traveler, please, do not skip if. You will not be disappointed. I do believe that Ex President Barack Obama even stopped in and tried it out when he came through Charleston a few years...
