Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Charleston

Wow, in the last few months me and my boyfriend have stopped here a handful of times. We want to place our order then his dad call in to pay for it. Seems simple for a pizza place that takes payments over the phone multiple times a day. Every single time we have been there, the staff acts like it's an issue and even the management has been rude to us repeatedly for no reason. We are always polite and place a reasonably simple order. We have never felt welcome and always been treated as a major inconvenience that leaves us uncomfortable the entire time we sit there and eat our food. One time I was told I wasn't even allowed to charge my phone at the outlet in the wall next to our table. These are usually managers taking our order and they have not been the least bit friendly or had any type of customer service skills. I have not only eaten in many restaurants but worked at countless restaurants and never seen such repeatedly regular rudeness from staff members. We love the food and we have went back a few times because of that but it's very hard to keep being a customer somewhere that you get such poor service. So the food is fine, the service is...

Pizza bar is skimpy, lacks variety, sausage and whatever seems popular together at this location. Taste like nothing special, there is absolutely nothing that would encourage a return visit here. However, if you request they make a particular pizza they are not interested in accommodating you. Desert pizza was not available during my 30 minute dining experience. Wait staff on this visit was extremely slow to respond to my requests. At $10 a person this is not a dining experience I care to repeat. Management will need to be trained to ensure a better customer experience by keeping the pizza bar fully stocked with a wider variety and perhaps better selection of pizza and deserts, especially during peak business hours. Retraining staff to overcome high volume patrons and perform some ongoing training to encourage a uniform customer service experience. I believe with these improvements this location could at minimum double it's repeat customer base and obtain a 4 star rating...

The store was very large with plenty of room for large groups. Our waitress was fantastic. She took our order and then checked on us several times.

The store was very clean including restrooms. Very happy with our dining experience.

After our wonderful afternoon Disney on Ice Show, we headed over to Pizza Hut in Kanawha City for a late lunch. We ordered the Big Box Dinner with 2 one Pepperoni Pizza, double order of Bread sticks and Chicken Alfredo Pasta and a round of Sodas for the table!!! Everyone talked about our wonderful adventure and all the beautiful sites and music! We can't wait for next year!!! Feeling Blessed with my family, but we missed Joshua!

The meal was just right! Plenty of food with refills on soda and to go cups. Our waitress was perfect. Highly recommend if you're in the area....go here!!! Pizza Hut added to the great time and helped to make the end of our family day...
