Speedy Redemption — Restaurant in Charlotte Amalie West

Pleasantly surprised & delighted to 100% vegan restaurant in the shops at the Crown Bay cruise port terminal during recent visit to St. Thomas, USVI. Delicious Caribbean dining. Freshly prepared, well seasoned, good sized portions, very reasonable prices. My sampler included tasty, moist lentil loaf, tender mixed greens, pigeon peas & brown rice, creamy Mac & cheese, potato salad, & small garden salad in place of Cole slaw at my request. No skimping on true island flavors & seasoning; just right! Less than $20. Made to order sandwiches, tacos, nachos available, as was a dessert, & drinks. Raw & cooked foods. Menu changes daily. Friendly knowledgeable personel. Small, take out only as no indoor seating, yet benches just outside. Cool views on the pier, watching the ships & boats, planes to/from airport, & the iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks. People watching much less enjoyable since most were trying to get selfies with the iguanas. Definitely worth a trip to this pier from wherever your St. Thomas visit takes you....

Family was really excited to try Speedy Redemption. The vegan options on the cruise have not been the best, so we were all excited to get off the boat and get some good local vegan food. Sign on the door says 7am-8:30pm, but we get in and they say they don’t start serving food until 11:30am. So we tried to get a drink and the lady said it wasn’t in season. So we left and got back on the boat. Very disappointing experience. This place was absolutely outstanding from all the food options you have in Saint Thomas Port... menu has different options to eat they even have a menu for the day. The sandwich was delicious and very healthy. The drinks are made with natural fruit. And the mixed of all the ingredients are just unique... you can see how they are making your sandwich. The only thing is that the place is very small... but if you are a little patient you won't be disappointed. They don't have a place to eat. But close to this place there are empty tables with umbrellas you can use...
