We did not try the food here. However, the coffee is excellent. We typically make our own coffee at home, yet, how can anyone resist such a classy, charming, and inviting trailer? This coffee cart is “just right “, as Goldilocks would say. With welcoming lighting, a clean look and feel, this place can hold its own! We truly enjoyed our americano with maple cardamom syrup and a splash of oat milk. I highly recommend that syrup! And maybe I’ll have a chance to taste the pumpkin spice one before it goes away. I’m in agreement with one of the other reviewers on the pricing. That is the reason for 4 stars. I do very much appreciate quality and good service, and small business owners need to do what they need to do to keep things moving. I just feel $5.60 is a bit excessive for 8oz of coffee. The americano on their menu is priced at 3 something, so the over $5 was a bit of sticker shock for me. And they only have the one size coffee. Also, I did pay in cash. When I did, it was mentioned they take cash, but do not offer change. I just think that’s a bit rude. When you are running a business, be prepared for customers who are willing to spend cash. I did not mind leaving the change today and I realize I could have pulled out my credit card. My point, however, is to be prepared for customers who may want to pay cash, should you choose to be a cash accepting venue. Owner Dennis is friendly and his wife makes the syrups. She really does do an excellent job with that. In summary, great coffee shop as far as IT is concerned and definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for friendly service, and a small cup of coffee on the go to get you through the day.

Just checked out Astoria Coffee, a little trailer-style coffee spot right off the Blue Line, and it’s easily one of my new favorites. The setup is basically a coffee food truck, which gives it a cool, casual outdoor vibe, but what really stands out is the modern, minimalist aesthetic—everything from the truck itself to the cups feels sleek and well-designed. The service was exceptional. The barista was super helpful, and when my wife mentioned one of the drinks she would want but couldn’t due to an allergy, he immediately offered to switch up the preparation to accommodate her. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail goes a long way. And, of course, the coffee was great. Smooth, well-balanced, and made with care. If you’re in the area or hopping off the Blue Line, definitely give this place a try. It’s a small setup but delivers big on quality and service.

Astoria Cafe is a true standout in the world of coffee shops. Denis goes above and beyond, offering personalized recommendations and genuinely engaging with customers. It's clear they truly care about creating a memorable experience. What really sets Astoria Cafe apart is their expertly sourced coffee. The beans are fresh, rich, and full of flavor, with a variety of other drink options to suit every palate. Whether you prefer a strong espresso or a smooth latte, each cup is brewed to perfection. The care and attention put into every cup are evident in the taste. If you're looking for not just great coffee but also a place where customer service is truly exceptional, Astoria Cafe is a must-visit. You'll leave feeling not only satisfied by your coffee but also uplifted by the service. Highly recommend!

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Yesterday afternoon we were excited to go try there coffees and pastries. We got there and there was no pastries. The young lady told us that they would have some in the morning. Today I went in the morning I got there and I asked the guy if they had pastries and donuts. He said they would be ready in about 5 mins. I ordered my coffee and I showed him a picture of the BLUEBERRY SWEET CREAM MATCHA after I ordered my drink he then told me that they didn't have donuts that they ONLY HAD CROISSANTS. I was like okay I'll take that then. After i got my coffee he told me THAT THE PASTRIES WERE STILL BAKING. They wouldn't have it any time soon. AT THAT POINT I WAS AGITATED. He handed me the blueberry sweet cream matcha and it wasn't like the one in the picture. I told him that I just wanted my refund back I don't want the drink.

HE HAD THE NERVE TO SIT THERE AND ARGUE.

I showed him the picture he said that it was the same thing and he told me that he would "FIX IT" After he "Fixed it" he still made it the same exact way NO CHANGE

He CONTINUED TO ARGUE.

He told me that if "im really going to go by the picture, it's the same thing " I was like yea I am going by the picture (I HAD SHOWED IT TO HIM) , and no it's not the same thing. I told him again I just want my refund back that's it I didn't want to argue there was no need for all of that he CONTINUED TO ARGUE I told him Y'all are advertising it like that. He then told me that it was a TEMPORARY syrup they had. WOW. "ITS THE SAME THING"?????? AFTER THE HARD TIME HE GAVE ME he finally gave me my refund back. NO DONUTS, NO CROISSANTS NO PASTRIES, EXTREMELY RUDE COSTUMER SERVICE, VERY...

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Quality

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my visit to Astoria Cafe was frustrating enough to warrant one. The coffee itself was underwhelming - definitely not worth the $8 price tag. But what really ruined the experience was the service.

I specifically ordered a latte with oat milk because I have a dairy allergy. They gave me one made with regular milk instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the staff member not only refused to remake it without charging me again, but showed zero concern about the fact that I could have had a serious reaction. That kind of indifference is unacceptable, especially in a business that deals with food and beverages.

Between the careless attitude and overpriced, mediocre coffee, I won’t be coming back - and I wouldn’t recommend Astoria Coffee to anyone who expects basic competence or...
