I discovered Girl Tribe Co. on social media and was instantly drawn to their designs and brand. I placed an order from their 'Spooky Szn' collection on October 19th—a beanie and tee specifically for a Halloween-themed work event on October 30th. Six days after placing my order, I reached out as I noticed the status hadn’t changed from ‘order received.’ I requested an estimated fulfillment date, explaining the urgency due to the upcoming event. We are now at day 10 and I have yet to receive a response and the order status remains unchanged.
According to their website, orders are screen-printed in-house, causing delays in order fulfillment. However, given that these aren’t custom items, it seems reasonable to expect that products would be available to ship when posted online—especially items tied to a specific holiday like Halloween. If they cannot guarantee delivery before the holiday, the products should either be marked as unavailable or have clear fulfillment dates so customers aren’t left in the dark.
The most disappointing aspect has been seeing their social media team actively promoting other products and their 'Eras Tour' pop-ups, without addressing customer concerns. It would be great to see them invest more in improving their e-commerce processes, rather than focusing solely on social media presence.

I know they dont have a large staff, but they need to hire someone to respond to e-mails about online orders, answer the phone at their store, and respond to inquiries on instagram. Emailed them about an order (no response!); dmed them on instagram ...saw they read it, but no one replied! Tried calling the store - no one answered...then they called back but when I missed the call and immediately called back, they sent me to voicemail. Their voicemail says to text them what you need to ask them...texted them and suprise.....NO RESPONSE! Out of all the boutiques here in Charlotte, they are the least responsive. Clothes are cute, some times, but you can often find the same pieces at other boutiques in Charlotte and for less of a price...this is also the type of store that marks all their tops, dresses, skirts, etc., the same price regardless of quality or individual piece. I recommend shopping at Vestique instead! Much better customer service, prices, etc....USE CODE TAMMY10 when shopping vestique online or in stores!!
Also, the owner replied below referencing they responded about an oversold item...that wasnt ny issue, so they also must be having issues with other customers involving sellings items they dont have in stock. Am willing to just hope they are short staffed and working on their customer...
Read moreI’m so sad. I’ve wanted to order from them for so long and I’m left with such disappointment with no resolution or answers. I ordered almost three weeks ago items that were all in stock and a store notice that five business days was the average to ship an order out. I got my first “we are doing out best” email at 7 days post order (which I totally understood!). Waited another 7 days to send my first email. I received an email back saying they were trying to restock and my order was being worked on. I ordered things that were in stock? So that was off to me. I followed up today now almost three weeks since order being placed and received little to no help or time frame just another we are working on it. It would be really nice to know how long shipping an order out is actually going to take I’d be more than happy to wait if I was given an accurate time frame in the first place because I understand small businesses!
I can’t help but have a poor taste in my mouth seeing all these pack orders with me lives with free gifts and order refunds (for holiday fun) when I can’t even get an email answer heading into arguably the biggest retail week of the year.
