Wow wow wow! Stumbled upon Backyard Fun + Food on a walk through the neighborhood. This outdoor space had 2 food trucks open when I went. One serves Colombian food and the other Venezuelan. If you like slow roasted and grilled meat this is the spot for you. I had beef arepas and my husband had a pork platter with sides. The food was INCREDIBLE. Portions were large so we easily could have shared one item with some sides. The seating area was in the shade so it was comfortable on an 85 degree day. It was relaxing to lounge around and enjoy the afternoon. I’m hesitant to review because I feel like I discovered a secret spot, but I don’t want to gate keep on this magical backyard space!

Cool spot, food was really good. The mains were solid but sides were my favorite (tostones, plantains, fries, yuca fries, and more). Two food trucks serve a variety of Mexican dishes in a little gravel lot, little different than other places to eat in the area.

La atencion de el food truck Mexicano fue excelente, la comida muy rica, el lugar esta en crecimiento! Estuvo muy buena tambien la comida Venezolana, estuve de pasada en Charlotte pero definitivamente volveria!
