⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huge shoutout to the barista—this drink was perfect!
I’m originally from California but now living in Troutman, and while I was out exploring and checking out a nearby Goodwill, I needed my Starbucks fix. I didn’t spot the location right away, but eventually I noticed a super sleek, all-black Starbucks that really emphasizes its drive-thru. It definitely caught my eye.
I went through the drive-thru and tried to order the lavender matcha (which I’ve been loving lately), but the rep over the mic just mentioned they were out of lavender—no other details. When I pulled up to the window, the interaction with the sales rep felt a bit drier than what I’m used to at Starbucks. I was still curious, so I asked if they were just out of lavender at this location or if it had been discontinued altogether. That’s when I was told it was actually out of season—which would’ve been helpful to know from the start.
It seemed like the rep might have been newer, so I totally get it, and it wasn’t a deal-breaker by any means. I ended up ordering my usual go-to: a brown sugar shaken oat espresso. The moment it was handed to me, my heart honestly skipped a beat—it looked exactly how it should. You know when a drink just gives you that “this is gonna be good” feeling? First sip, ON POINT!
So while the customer service could’ve had a little more warmth, the quality of the drink and the overall experience were still great. Big kudos to the barista who made my drink—you nailed it! I’ll definitely swing by again the next time I’m...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars, I would. This has to be the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I usually order a nitro cold brew and was told at another location to simply ask them to hold the foam if I wanted a flat drink. Every other store does this without issue, except here. I’ve actually had baristas argue with me. One even told me to just wait for the foam to settle and scoop it off myself, then acted offended when I jerked the straw. I wasn’t ugly, I simply repeated what I was told. Since when is it okay to tell a customer to just do it themselves. The service here is deplorable. During another visit the manager, Anna, flat-out refused after I told her it had been done before, saying, ‘Well, we’re not going to today.’
Tonight, I decided to give this location another try bc it’s closest to home, and ordered a dairy-free pumpkin foam cold brew. Mind you, I’d stopped coming here altogether because of their service. I drink Starbucks daily, so that’s money they’re losing. The woman at the counter told me the drink doesn’t come with foam, seriously? A pumpkin foam cold brew doesn’t come with foam? I’d literally had the same drink made earlier today at another store. When I asked for it with coconut milk, she seemed so confused that I just drove off and went to the Tyvola location instead. I should’ve gotten her name.
Every time I’ve been here, the staff is either rude or incompetent....
Read moreThe kind of disrespect I received yesterday at the window after paying for a drink that wasn’t mine is RIDICULOUS! I had went back after realizing I was given the wrong drink. By then the place was closed but the employees were still there. I had honked my horn to get the females attention and instead of coming to the window, she yelled from the register that they were closed. I then proceeded to grab my drink and show her that I wasn’t trying to order, but that they gave me the wrong drink and was trying to get my money back. She just kept yelling that they were closed. I decided to wait a while longer for another worker to come but they all just ignored me. I then got out of my car and started yelling “you gave me the wrong drink, and I didn’t pay for this” but they continued to ignore me, while one started taking fake selfies and laughing as it was all a joke that I was mad. They didn’t even have the decency to come to the window and attend a customer who PAID, when they’re the ones who messed up my order. Instead, they laughed as if it was funny seeing how frustrated I was. I’m a regular customer here and have never received this treatment in any other Starbucks. To say I’m disgusted in their behavior is an understatement and will be taking this to corporate. If you don’t know how to treat customers, than customer service clearly...
