Some of the people leaving 1-star reviews are due for an empathy check. Sorry you had a bad experience, but it's airport fast food in covid times- and that means massive staffing and supply chain issues. It's not the employees' fault that this location mind bogglingly only staffs 2 or 3 (one cashier, one or two prepping meals) employees at a time regardless of the time of day- even during the breakfast rush. No, the food isn't mind blowing- but did you really need to consult Google reviews to learn that? It's what you'd expect from any similar location.
I don't fly often, but I've flown through CLT in the early morning multiple times this year. I always opt for the Burger King at CLT because despite Chickfila offering exactly 1 type of item (big chicken on big bread, or smallchicken on small bread!), the line is reliably insane.
Each time I've been to this BK, the same woman was working the cash register, and her friendliness is off the charts. Every single customer gets a "good morning", "how are you", and a "thank you sweetie"- talk about walking the Southern Hospitality walk. Whatever she's getting paid, it's not nearly enough. I only hope other customers have taken notice of who must certainly be CLT Employee of the Year. Her attitude is a hell of a lot better than that of 90% of the customers she...
Read moreWorst Worst Worst!!! What a horrible experience. Shift managers is on the phone with an employee that is calling in and telling them they better show up or else. Not in a professional way! Employees walking around. Another Charlotte Douglas employee standing in front of the food delivery area constantly berating one of the other workers about wanting to date her. He was there for 15 minutes. It took 38 minutes to get a whopper with cheese ordered and delivered. This is the airport! I just flew through Denver and McDonald's served 25 people in 8 minutes. Long Delay's between taking orders. Staff just mulling around. A lot of street type language and conversations. No Thank you and have a nice day. This place should be shut down and put a business in there, where the employees want to work and treat customers with respect and appreciation for their patronage. The food was fine, other than running through the airport eating it, so I could catch a flight. Many people just got out of line, because it was taking so long. RUDE Staff! Don't ask how much longer it's going to be, unless you want attitude. This type of BK makes me not want to go to any Burger King. Eat at any other place, instead of wasting your...
Read moreThis is a sorry place. It looks like a Burger King, but the people just don't care. Came in from Pittsburgh, needed some food before my connecting flight. Place had a line, took me awhile to give my order - not good if you're short on time and have to walk back to another section of the airport. Got my number and was surprised to see how many people inside, were just joking around with each other, not, I repeat NOT taking care of the customers. There was one, ONE person taking the orders. They could have had 3 cash registers open. Got my number and started waiting again. People with numbers higher than mine started getting their food, still, my number was not called. I got the attention of the lone guy taking orders, showed him my number. He looked, and couldn't find my food. Apparently, it was given to someone else. He searched around the food that was waiting in the queue waiting to be bagged. He grabbed a sandwich, put it into the bag and I left to get back to my gate. Opened the bag, this was NOT my order. He just put something in the bag to make me go away. This place is definitely not well managed. They just don't care. Captive audience. They need some fast food competition, and some...
