Chick-fil-A is normally one of my favorite restaurants and I am saddened to have to write this review. I ordered the grilled nuggets and the employee acknowledged my request. After I had paid for my order, I confirmed with her again and she got a shocked look on her face and said that she had selected the fried nuggets. I reminded her that I had asked for grilled nuggets.
She said that she would have them “fix” the order. I waited for them to prepare my order. Soon after, they gave it to me and, lo and behold, they were the fried nuggets. I again reminded them that I had ordered the grilled nuggets. Then, they came back with one order of grilled nuggets, but still with the fried ones. Given that it was 5 pm and in the dinner hour and they were busy, I finally just left. Fortunately, they had only charged me for the fried nuggets and not the grilled ones (which are an extra cost).
I am on a restricted diet and am really not supposed to be eating fried food. I feel that if Chick-fil-A is going to offer a grilled product, then they need to train their employees to differentiate between the two products and ring them up properly when the customer orders it. The grilled nuggets make it more plausible for the health conscious and diet-restricted to eat there. Unfortunately, this incident has happened at least three other times at Chick-fil-As in general.
I should also note that no one at the Charlotte Airport Chick-fil-A even offered me an apology for their mishap and most didn’t even smile. I’m normally one of Chick-fil-A’s biggest fans, but unfortunately today, they...
Read moreAvoid, rudeness, sneers, and long waits. Charlotte Int. Airport, @3:27 on 28 April 2020. Cashier fine at first, quick and correct. Grilled sandwiches weren't ready and had to be cooked. No one informed me of the wait, just overheard it from the kitchen. Other orders going out mostly within a minute or two . Six or seven long minutes later I saw the other boxes in the rack filled (later realized they were grilled ones like I ordered), no one did a thing to fill my order but used some of them on new orders. Me, obviously the only customer still standing right in front of the counter for an extended period, was never asked anything. A new person came to the middle register just to my left and I mentioned to her that I was waiting on order 2317, to which she turned her head, sneered and Ignored me to take the next order. Another woman, Mgr?, came from the back and said " I'll bag, you guys give me the __ (think said names). I then mentioned to her I was still waiting on #2317. Again, ignored. When other orders were caught up, bagged mine with fries, stood and turn sideways so not to look at me and stuck out the bag. Not a word of thank you, hello, or any pleasantry was ever said to me. Very rude. Original cashier failed to follow up on my order, new cashier sneered and ignored me, and manager type ignored me and rudely handed me the bag. Won’t ever go back! Avoid the...
Read moreChick-Fil-A is a good go to for our family. We had this chain restaurant for takeout while on vacation (just like we have numerous other times, and multiple cities across the United States) and we were very pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches were fresh and perfectly prepared. The lettuce, tomatoes were crisp and fresh. Sometimes you can get floppy lettuce or lettuce that taste soggy, but this was not the case here. The tomatoes were also perfectly ripe and had a good taste to them. My children are picky and we can sometimes be such a pain with our special orders. But I will say that, although we had multiple special orders, the staff did an excellent job, making sure that everything was accurate and got to us in a very timely manner. The outside service was excellent and very well coordinated. They are head and shoulders above other fast food chains. We always love eating at Chick-Fil-A its a place where the food is Great and the Service is even better. It is one of the few places that all the adults and children in our family can actually agree upon. Just make sure that if you want to eat here that you don’t stop by on a Sunday. They are closed on Sundays, so take that into account if you were planning ahead. Don’t forget to try the...
