For obvious reasons, it's been quite some time since I've actually ventured out anywhere. I've been extremely fortunate, in that every single time that my neighbors have gone to the grocery store and/or elsewhere, they've always asked me if I needed anything while they were out. Approximately 2 weeks ago, they came back from their trip to the grocery store and brought me a Stromboli. Not only was it phenomenal, but it's probably the best one that I've had since I moved down to NC from Philadelphia while serving in the military. This morning they asked if I needed anything from the store, or if I wanted to ride with them. I finally chose to head out with them. After grocery shopping, they told me that they were going to Da vinci's Pizza. This is where they had picked up the Stromboli from last time. And I had another Stromboli. Just as good as the last one, if not better. If you like Italian...in particular Strombolis, then this just might be the place for you. Easily the best one that I've ever eaten in Charlotte. For your future reference, they have an umbrella seating outdoors. There's also bench seating right next door, that's kind of cabana style, with shrubbery and small trees. Read moreUnfortunately they have gone down hill bad. The only thing that has gone up is their prices while food quality drops. What used to be my all time favorite place is now not worth the trouble . Tried to order dinner tonight. They forgot HALF the order and the half they did bring was the WRONG order. And seemed to be pretty CONVIENT that they didn’t bring the receipt with my order. So since I don’t have the receipt I’m screwed. Tried telling me that the cost for my order was correct when it clearly shows by their menu price that I paid for 2 dinners. The girl that runs the phone for take out orders does not pay attention. Repeated our order to her multiple times. She even repeated it back to me. So how is it we didn’t get half our order and what we did get was the wrong order. Called back to try and get everything fixed and they blamed me saying I only ordered one dinner. But yet they charged me for 2. When I said that we wouldn’t order from them again because of the constant mistakes they have made,I was told “that is fine we don’t need your business.” We were faithful patrons of them for over 5 years. Read moreThis review is strictly for the customer service. I ordered from here on 3/8 at 6:30 pm. Prior to placing my order she asked me to verify my address which I did. An hour later I get a call from the delivery driver saying he needs a gate code. I informed him that he was at the residents only gate and gave him instructions to come back through the main entrance. 10 minutes go by. I call him, no answer. I call Da Vinci’s and explain the situation, they put me on hold then, comes back and says he said “he said delivered but I guess he’s at the wrong address so what we can do is remake and send out a new pizza OR refund you”. I said “so you want me to wait another hour AND still pay full price??” The answer was yes. Asked for a manager (Brian) and he gave me the same options. After I expressed my concern of this NOT being my fault he opted to give me 10% off my NEXT order. I’m sorry sir, this is not on me, that’s not going to work. The fact that you guys are pressed for $23 really boggles my mind. I was treating my kids to pizza tonight and you guys messed up.
