Five Guys — Restaurant in Charlotte

My Wife and I visited this 5 guys location about 2 weeks ago.

We went for lunch around 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon.

To begin with, Caleb, the manager (I assume) at the time greeted us immediately as we entered the store. I always love when I'm greeted at the door!!

Mr. Caleb assured us that we could take as much time to decide on what to have as is necessary. It's nice to not feel pressured to make a hasty decision. We had a couple of questions which were answered promptly and accurately - thank you!

We eventually landed on a couple burgers for lunch and we were discussing as to whether or not we should purchase a large Cajun style fries or normal size. Caleb stepped in and assured us that a normal size fries would suffice for both of us. He was right!! Saved us a couple bucks too - thanks Caleb!

Pricing is a bit higher than other burger places, however, I can say the overall quality of the meal is considerably better than the competition which speaks towards the higher price.

The store was clean and orderly. All condiments were stocked and readily available. Additionally, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

The burgers were thoroughly cooked and all of the toppings were perfect! Caleb even brought the order to our table, which we thought was fantastic.

Overall I would rate this location a 9 out of 10.

I base this rating off of food quality, environment, cleanliness, staff professionalism, and overall pricing.

I walked into Five Guys feeling a little stressed and frazzled, but that changed the moment I was greeted by Kevin. His positive energy and warm smile instantly turned my day around—what an awesome guy!

As always, my burger was excellent—Five Guys never disappoints. When Vanessa handed me my food, she did so with another fantastic smile, making the experience even better.

What stood out the most was the entire team’s energy. I took a moment to observe how they interacted with customers, and every single employee was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely happy to be there.

My experience at this location was less than pleasant due to the attitude of the young lady at the register, who appeared disinterested in her work. Although my food was supposed to be ready in 8 minutes, I ended up waiting in the store for the fries. After waiting for about 5-6 minutes, the fries were overcooked, which is not typical for Five Guys. Despite its proximity to my house, I will avoid this location in the future. I prefer to go out of my way for better customer service and food quality, especially since Five Guys is considered a premium fast food...
