Fortune Cookie 8 — Restaurant in Charlotte

The food is good but the service is iffy. I was charged $52 for the food because the girl who took my to go order ignored my requests for side dishes 3 times and gave me dinner portions instead (which I didn't see until I arrived at the place to pick up*)

Small side veggie lo mein with only broccoli is what I requested and instead got a large veggie lo mein with everything.

I also requested a small side of sesame chicken (ONLY THE CHICKEN) & again she ignored me and put it in for a dinner combo which comes with rice.

I ordered 1 egg roll and she put in for 2.

The best thing flavor wise was the lo mein, sesame chicken, & the crab ragoons i ordered. Also the rice is very dry, no flavor, and tastes old.

But sadly I probably won't order from here for a long time again and if i do It won't be over the phone because they think they can play with you.

and that red sauce you see everywhere is because they just tossed the crab ragoon sauce in the bag and it spilled over...

I shop at the family dollar frequently in which is located a few stores down from Fortune Cookie. I would always see a good amount of people in/ Out of there which led me to believe. They must have good food. Let's start with the boneless Spare Ribs, shrimp fried rice. The rice was yellow? I received 3 extremely small shrimp and the spare ribs had an odd after taste, which made my stomach upset for an entire evening. Their house soup barely had any broth. My daughter has the beef with broccoli. The sauce was watery and she as well thought the meat tasted weird. I have no ideal why they have frequent customers. They can't cook....

Very nice. The restaurant has been updated from the outdated look that it had before the new owners took over. Fresh paint on the walls and the entire floor has been updated. The restaurant has a more gentle feel. It is exceptionally clean. The walls the windows the bathroom and all of the tables were perfectly spaced and seemed to have a degree of social distancing factored in. Now the food, it was excellent. It was cooked fresh and it was hot. On this day I ordered the Generals Chicken with fried rice. The rice wasn't sticky and the pieces of chicken were flavorful. The egg roll was freshly cooked and...
