My roommate and I went there for a networking event. It's the second there in a networking event since the owner is very much involved in business networking and politics. The owner has expanded the location. However, the place is moderately spacious to have a gathering of 12-24. Thanks to his recently added space, he was able to have a nicer bread/pastries showroom. I assume that he would have tables and chairs so that customers can sit down and enjoy their favorite(S) whenever there isn't a networking event. As far as food goes, the place had offer catering services for the LACCC event was quite good. They had a variety of food from empanadas (which were gone rather quickly), chorizo, morcilla, arroz con leche, tamales, South American bread (obviously), among other things. I didn't photographed the place nor their food while I was there, but I managed to photograph a small to-go portion I took home from leftovers. The owner Manuel is super cool, down to earth, and caring for the people around him, and the community. He stands for more than the typical corporate bakery.

I came in today around 5pm September 3rd and purchased several pastries. One specifically was a slice of Oreo cake covered in mold! As a customer you expect quality control and trust that you are given something that's safe to eat. I am utterly angry because the pastry belonged to my son! If I hadn't gone over to try some I wouldn't have noticed and he would have eaten it all not knowing that something is off because all a child sees is a cake! I have worked in the food service industry as a cashier and my job was to inspect everything that was given out... The fact that this was missed is ridiculous. It wasn't just a bit of mold, but a lot all around the frosting and bottom of the cake. I do not believe that it was freshly made that day nor even the day before. It's upsetting that I'm having to write this review.

This place has been on my radar for a while so I'm glad we finally stopped by. I didn't know what a lot of things in the pastry case were, but one of the employees was helpful in explaining them. My husband and I ended up getting: - Strawberry Concha - Some kind of passion fruit pastry - Peach Tres Leches - Passion Fruit Tres Leches The Concha was more of a sweet bread than a pastry to me, but I enjoyed it. I wasn't a big fan of the passion fruit pastry because it was very dry and bready. It wasn't sweet and didn't have a passion fruit flavor. I think the cakes are where they shine. I loved both tres leches that we got, but the passion fruit one really stood out. It had that punch of passion fruit I was looking for. I'd gladly come back to try more!

2 years ago, my friend bought me a baby shower cake, we initially wanted a 3 leches cake with fondant and fruit in the middle, but the person helping us explained that 3 leches would not work with fondant because it would fall apart so she suggested for us to get a moist cake with the fondant and fruit... It didn't really go as planned because they ended up calling my friend that they couldn't do it, but we still got the cake and it was delicous! Yesterday I wanted to get a similar cake for my friend's baby shower because she and her husband loved the cake at my baby shower. When I tried to explain the cake to the person helping us, she didn't quite understand what I was talking about so she asked someone else to try and understand what I meant... Well I noticed she asked the same person that helped us 2 years ago, BUT she thought that I was complaining about my cake 2 years earlier.... Ok.... I said, no , I'm asking to get the same cake.. And she just turned around with her hand up in the air.... and the person helping us started to assist the customers behind us..... Not telling us, please wait or anything... At that point we just walked out... I'm very disappointed because that cake was really good! ... I'm currently still looking for a good cake for...

We recently discovered Manolo's Bakery and it has quickly become our go-to spot for all things delicious! We used the catering service and it was outstanding.

The variety here is simply amazing. Whether you're in the mood for a classic croissant, a decadent chocolate cake, or something more unique like their seasonal fruit tarts, Manolo's has it all. Each item is crafted with such care and attention to detail, you can truly taste the love and passion that goes into every bite.

What sets this bakery apart is not just the quality of their products, but also the exceptional customer service. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help you find exactly what you're looking for. They even offer great recommendations if you're feeling indecisive!

We also appreciate their commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. It makes a noticeable difference in the taste and freshness of their baked goods.

Overall, Manolo's is a true treasure in our community. Whether you're using the catering service, stopping by for a quick coffee and pastry or picking up a special order for a celebration, you won't be disappointed....
