On Friday evening I ordered 2 pizza from Milano's through All Hungry! I have been doing this quite frequently for the past 7 months. This day my pizza came an hr later. Longer than normal and cold. I'm not talking warm, like I would expect and have received my pizza before. But when it's cold, the grease starts forming on top. I called Milano's and was directed back to All Hungry for a refund. Chatted with them, cause you know you can't talk to anyone anymore. They told me that Milano's needed to handle it. For 30 minutes or more back and forth between the two. Milano's offered me 10% which equal $2 on my next order. I told him it was unacceptable. He would remake them and it would be another hour and he wasn't quaranteeing it to be hot. At one point, he took a phone order from someone else but he delivery would only be 35 mins. Also because of time, they were serving pizza. He told me I could pick it up, at which I told him I have no car. He told me that I was the only one who had complained all night. I told him to look at his records to check how much I order and never complain. All Hungry insisted that Milano's was responsible for taking care of me since the order has been delivered. Again when I talked to Milano's, I was yelled at and then hang up on. Saturday morning, I called All Hungry and actually spoke to a person. She must have expected me cause I didn't have to tell her my name. She stated that they had spoke to the Owner on Friday night and that I had expected a "piping hot pizza," that it had been raining, and he offered to remake it. I again explained I was expecting a piping hot but at least one that did not have grease on top of it because it was cold plus I had kids who could not wait another hour. Again I was told Milano's needed to handle it. If they would request it, they would honor it. Called Milano's and was yelled at again, saying they did not have my money and All Hungry was responsible for my refund. I got both Parties on a 3way call with Milano's yelling at both All Hungry and myself. All Hungry told them they were responsible in which Milano's stated that since they were not willing to take responsibility that they were canceling their service. At that point I told then that I was tired of the back and forth, so I would just cancel the transaction through my bank. Milano's stated good and we don’t want your business anyway. Read moreMilano’s played a huge part in our day’s happy ending! My sister, niece, daughter, and I traveled hours out of town to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday, just for carowinds to close literally as we pulled into the park.
The rest of the day was a scramble to find how to salvage a rainy and depressing birthday for my upset little girl. We found an indoor park, which lifted her spirits, but then we needed to find food.
I remembered that I made note of Milano’s as we were leaving Carowinds, and suggested that we stopped there, after leaving the indoor park.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the beautiful sounds of sophisticated modern classical music. I fell in love with the decor and was presently shocked at how swanky it was, in comparison to the adjoining shops. Sabir greeted us at the counter with a warm personality, as if he had known us for years.
My little one asked if she could ring the bell, to which he humorously obliged. Such a simple gesture of kindness at the right time. Not to be dramatic, but it was serendipitous for us to eat there. He will never know how much his kindness lifted her spirit.
The rest of the staff we encountered were top-notch as well, with wonderful personalities and on top of their game. The service was beyond outstanding.
Now the food. OMGoodness. The two girls had a cheese pizza and garlic bread, of which they completely inhaled. I had a salad with homemade ranch dressing and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was soooo good. The salad though?! OMGoodness. From the presentation to the taste, you would think that you were at some restaurant in New York. Honestly, the place was just so upscale, yet cozy feeling.
My sister had a Greek salad and hot wings with homemade hot sauce. She couldn’t stop raving about her meal.
When Sabir found out it was my kid’s birthday, he sent over a complimentary slice of cheesecake—another spirit-lifting act (also, our waiter slipped us some garlic bread, when I my kid refused to let me eat one of her slices ).
I would love to thank this establishment for not only the great food, but for the family-like, upscale, and outstanding service. This experience will forever be a positive part of our memories. Whenever we are in town, we have all agreed that we will always come back to Milano’s.

Placed the order online and after an hour of waiting I called up and spoke with a woman whom answered the phone and stated "Milano's Please Hold" and left me on hold for exactly 6 minutes. I then hung up and called back and got a guy. He told me they were busy when I explained that I was on hold for so long. I called to check on the status of my food and they stated that they had not delivered it yet and it was next to be delivered. After an additional 28 minutes of waiting and still no food my coworker whom added her order to mine called and they stated that it was still in the kitchen. Furious that it was 1 hour and 30 minutes and still no food we drove up there. When we walked in there was only 1 customer sitting at a table and the girl whom we were speaking to on the phone (the one who put me on hold for 6 minutes) was sitting at a table with 2 other guys she worked with. This pissed me off because they flat out lied to me stating that they were "BUSY". They then tried to tell us that they had tried to deliver the food and tried to call me multiple times. This again was a lie and set me off. They had just told us that it was still in the kitchen on the phone and now someone had tried to deliver it again.
