I spent more than $50 on an order for myself and my daughters, and a manager named Carri(n) labeled me a liar and ordered me to "take it up with Doordash!" I was shocked by how inept and disrespectful she was. I placed my order using the Panera Bread app on my phone. Despite the fact that they gave me updates indicating that the order was "Delivered," it never arrived. We were informed that it had been sent to the incorrect address and that they would send the order again when I contacted. Once more, the order stated that it was "Delivered," yet it was never. I know it wasn't delivered to my house since I have cameras all over it, including a doorbell camera. One thing I believe the manager Carri(n) did not comprehend is that after placing my first order, my wife arrived home and was also hungry, so we placed a second order that was delivered without any problems (to the same address of course, using the same app, smh). Therefore, when we called her back a second time to report that it had occurred with our larger order again, she advised us to "Take it up with Doordash" because Doordash had a photo of what happened. this Carri(n) even refused to give me a refund for my order. I was so offended, I started to phone the bank and report it as fraud, I felt like they were doing precisely that! Instead, I called corporate, who gave me a refund (as they ought to have) and a Pick 2—yeah, right! As a software developer, my time is money, and $15 worth of free goods just isn't cutting it after over an hour of phone conversations between them and corporate. Corporate ultimately gave me an additional present, which made everything "fine." I'm still upset that we waited for three hours for nothing and were essentially labelled liars. I frequently patronize this shop, or...
Read moreI've come here for 4 years multiple times a week. In the last week I've had problems with EVERY order. I hate complaining but one order they completely forgot my chicken on a Togo order and then had to wait another 30 min for them to deliver the chicken, then was given a very hard chocolate chip cookie as their "I'm sorry we messed up". I can't have dairy so I just gave it to my daughter. The other orders have been very subpar of typical Panera standards. Lettuce has looked less green. Lettuce is also very scarce and minimal. Its a salad, they're just lining the bottom of the Togo box with a thin layer of lettuce. They used to fill the entire box. Do they know that nobody wants a black avocado? At least cut off the black bits. Avocados should be green, not half black. My lettuce tastes dirty. I have seen new people working behind the counters so all I can think is that their new staff is poorly trained or not wanting to actually put any effort in their jobs. Hire new people that actually want to live up to Panera standards please! This used to be my favorite place to go around northlake and now they've just lost an avid customer that used to eat here every other day. As a single mom always on the go this used to be such a convenience for me, but I'm not going to keep wasting my money without getting the quality I expect from...
Read moreWe went in today and the cashier that helped us was super rude. I couldn't hear her soft voice and when I asked for her to repeat the question she rolled her eyes then gave me an annoyed look as she was repeating herself. Our order was quickly prepared. It took us only 5 minutes to get home and start eating, by the time we did the soups were still deliciously hot, the only inconvenience was the bread we were served, DON'T THEY OWN A KNIFE/BREAD CUTTING UTENCIL??? The bread we were served looked like it had been hand cut by a previous customer and served to us as LEFTOVERS. Bread pieces were smaller than the size of the soup lid. Not to mention bread also felt 100 years old. It was soooooo old I couldn't even get my teeth through it, I soaked it in the soup and instead of it being soft like any other fresh bread would, it turned like rubber so I just gave up on it. I moved on to our sandwich and OMG I was so upset because the bread from our sandwiches was also NOT fresh. We ended up driving back out to a Subway and throwing all Panera stuff out, actually now that I think of it... we really threw $28.73 to the trash. NEVER EVER GOING...
