** Please LIKE & share our reviews. ** We stopped in here on the way to Myrtle Beach. It was such a fantastic stay. Just the entry alone will take your breath away. Very spacious, clean & welcoming. This establishment has been here for about 15 years but you would never guess. We thought it was rather new. We were informed that next year they will be doing a remodel. We were on the 3rd floor. We opted for the dinner with 2 cocktails. Was a nice little spread of meatballs, salad, soup, hot dogs for the kiddos, nacho bar. They have a fountain drink station and coffee station that are pretty much 24 hours in the lobby floor. There is a water filtration fountain for refilling them tumblers. It is located next to the lobby pool entrance. The indoor outdoor heated pool and hot tub was where the real fun was at. Be careful bc even the grippy shoes can slip on that pool deck. There are plenty of towels in the pool area so leave your room towels alone and just go. ^^ Bring swimmy diapers for toddlers. (They do not offer these in the market.) We also enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. Was serene and yet seemed to have many guests. Breakfast was excellent. They had country style biscuit and gravy, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit, sausage, eggs, bacon, along with breakfast potatoes and a juice station. If you are sensitive to any sounds at night, avoid rooms ending in number -13 and -15 because these are closest to the elevators. For those who have trouble walking distances though, these would be perfect. There is a business center (with printer), atm and a market located near the front desk in the lobby. Staff was insanely accommodating! Wow. What service. We were visiting with my husband who was on a work trip. We checked out and he went on to his job site and we spent the afternoon having fun at the mall which is an easy 5-8 minute walk from the hotel. Gorgeous place with so many nice stores. Def get some retail therapy while in town. ^* Highly recommend this place. Will def save it in my Google Maps list. Thank you!

Probably one of the best places I've stayed in a while. Customer service treat you like family. And one of the few places in that only serves breakfast but also serves a quite amazing dinner as well. I mean the first night which I checked in on Tuesday they had baked potatoes, mixed vegetables, bread rolls, and barbecue. They also had other options like salad , soup and even hot dogs for kids . They also gave you a card for two free alcoholic drinks of your choice . Talk about VIP status for everybody . I like to say it was high end food almost like Golden Corral standard, real talk the next night was mashed potatoes Swedish meatballs and buttered light and dark green beans. And as far as the rooms just when you think there's no microwave or refrigerator there is. The left side of the dresser is it a fake drawer pull out. The massive standing mirror is actually a door to a secret closet. Beds were super comfy and the pillows extra fluffy. Guaranteed to fall asleep. I feel like Uncle Fester in the movie Addams Family when he first laid in his bed, where your body just kind of sinks into it. Best way I can describe it. Bathroom was definitely upgraded everything well-placed the tile looks amazing, hot shower available anytime of the day. I've been to some places where if a lot of people stayed and took showers at a particular time sometimes you didn't get hot water you were lucky to get warm water but this place has hot water "on tap" whether you're wanting to take a shower or shave, coming from a traveling contractor like myself I was very impressed.

Kind of a letdown for the Drury chain. 1) The whole bathroom had plumbing issues. The tub gets clogged after a few minutes of showering. The sink clogged right away. The plastic pipe under the sink is in broken shape. The toilet only flushes if you hold the handle for a long time. My best guess is that it's not just one room but the whole hotel. 2) Hair dryer in rough shape with 2nd speed not working 3) There is no lotion (i asked housekeeper, but she told me rooms don't have lotions. Weird as we stayed in Drury hotel in GA a few days ago, and they had lotions there. 4) No trash bags in the trash cans (feel bad for the housekeeping, so much more work for no reason). 5) The pool is cold. 6) The hot tub had so much chlorine , it was burning my eyes by just walking into a room. Also, nobody seems to clean it throughout a day, as it was so much brown dirt on top of the foam. Disgusting. 7) The breakfast was almost out of bread by 9am. Also some food variety would be nice. For example, bacon instead of a beef patty. More fruits, maybe to-go sandwiches. When I mentioned to the front desk about the room issues, she thanked me for bringing it to her attention but never wrote them down or even asked the room number. So I doubt they would fix anything. On the bright side: it was clean, good pillows and mattress. Was given more towels at request. Free popcorn. Good hot breakfast. Hot tub opened until 11pm (if only they would clean it). Free parking

Check in - there is a covered area to drive up and wheel carts to load your luggage onto. The lobby is very spacious, and check in was quick and informative.

Elevators - there are only 2 elevators in the entire hotel. The housekeep staff were trying to use the elevators during peak breakfast time so there was often a wait to get on, especially because there are 7 floors and it was a busy weekend.

Amenities - they knocked it out of the park here! Complimentary breakfast AND dinner for guests and the food was phenomenal. There are also high chairs. There is also free popcorn every day. I did need a toothbrush for one of my kiddos and they don’t offer the typical complimentary things like tooth brush, tooth paste, etc, but due to the amount of other items offered, it wasn’t a big deal. There is also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash installed in the shower!

Parking - the lot was a decent size and is free. No valet.

Location - there is a mall right across the street and a target 3 minutes away. Lots of stuff to do close.

Room - the room was spacious and very clean! They ONLY do room service if you request it though, so don’t think you’ll be coming back to a clean room every day without requesting the service. I didn’t mind and didn’t need the service, I was just surprised by this practice.

Pool - okay, everyone comes here for the pool. It’s a half indoor, half outdoor pool. It’s really great. But that’s part of the problem - it seems to be the ONLY functioning pool in the entirety of Charlotte. There were TWO birthday parties there and it was just entirely too many people in such a small area. The indoor section echoes very badly so it is extremely...

This is by far the greatest Hotel of our times. I’ve traveled to many places in and out of the US and in today’s world there’s no place like home until you come here. Upon check in the front desk clerk is very polite professional and welcoming. We were given 2 drink tickets and buffet tickets to use for the next day. We never got to use them but it’s cool we did get to the breakfast buffet and the staff was very helpful polite and professional as well. They kept everything clean while we got our food and also helped us get our plates over to the trash once we were finished. The room we stayed in the sink was baked up but when I brought it to the attention of the front desk they gave me another room without hesitation. I used the gym late at night and it was clean and comfortable. Then about 1 am i went downstairs to write a song and there were a few people around but everyone was highly layed back with professional vibes as well. The Hotel manager gave us maps of NC to help with our journey and he also checked on us to see how things were going with us. That gave our stay and even more pleasant feeling. Then we ran into the assisted manager on our way checking out and she entertained a pleasant light conversation with us and made us even more glad that we stayed here. The entire team here from management and staff is definitely a 10 out of 10. I will be back and because of our experience we will definitely call this hotel our new home away from home. Thanks guys your the best. In today’s world people want to have an amazing experience especially after working hard for their money and this place...
