Cocobean Coffee and Boba Tea — Restaurant in Charlotte

I'm always in search of a good milk tea and this place was...alright. Me and my husband both got oolong milk teas, no customization, no boba. The tea flavor overall was a little bit weak, very dairy forward. But it was smooth and there was plenty of ice. A good pick me up after a long day.

Menu was well-rounded, with options for coffee and fruit-based drinks. I wish there were options for alternative milks like oat or almond, though.

This is the absolute worst excuse for a coffee shop!! I waited 30+ mins for a drink that I never even received. Since it is a family business they have untrained minor children (presumably the owners kids) in there working as baristas. They are terrible. Every single transaction was done incorrectly. Another customer with a terrible experience like mine, requested a refund. They refunded a her drink to a different customers card. It’s so awful. My partner and I have been going here since they’ve opened up. We can honestly say it’s our new favorite spot to get quality coffee! There’s a spot in California called 85 Degrees and another called 7 Leaves that we both love and Cocobean is on the same level! She usually gets an iced Sea Salt Coffee Latte and I usually do the Vietnamese Iced Coffee (normal or with Ube). Both are spectacular! The atmosphere is great and the customer service is phenomenal.
