Pilot Brewing — Restaurant in Charlotte

Came here to utilize a Groupon with a friend and definitely will come back just to try. But if you can’t find it by GPS (like I did 😂) it’s on the side of the building beside the restaurant. The Groupon was for a Flight, Logo Pint Glass, and Sticker for Two. The selections were plentiful that me and my friend ordered different beers and were able to test all majority of them between the two of us. I’m sort of a beer newbie so both of the beer-tenders were helpful in picking out selections that best suit my tastebuds! We came on NYE and they have snacks and plenty of decor and NYE accessories laid out which I thought was a nice touch. That, along with the $3 Goblet specials made for a nice beginning to the evening. I will be back to visit next time...

Came here with some friends to play music bingo and had a fun night! Service is good too!

The inside is small and there is a little area outside with seating too. The first thing I noticed when I entered was the smell. It stinks when you walk in, but your nose will adjust after a few minutes.

They don’t serve food but they have a surprisingly large variety of snacks you can purchase. You’re free to bring in outside food too.

If you start a tab they hold onto your card, so don’t forget to close out and get your card before you leave!

Kid friendly and lots of games available to play.

There is parking in front but if it’s full you can park in the retail area of the apartment complex parking deck located...

These guys are making some truly incredible beers. First I ever heard of them was last week at the Great American Beer Festival where I had the good fortune of sampling a few of their (2) medal winning beers. They won Silver for their Gose which was fantastic and due to its massive popularity sold out minutes after I tried it. But to me the real star of their line up (and the type of beer by which I like to judge a brewery by) was their simple and expertly crafted Czech Bag Pilsner. Most breweries make at least one Pilsner, but seldom do I come across one as near perfect and true to the style as theirs. I'm going to be in Charlotte next month, and I'm looking forward to checking out...
