Stopped in here on a Monday evening for a business dinner. The three of us were greeted warmly by a hostess and seated immediately. Waiter came over quickly and gave us the rundown and was quite attentive all evening. We ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers and chorizo queso as appetizers along with some local craft beer. I like their selection of craft beer (the Wooden Robot Good Morning Vietnam was excellent) and even a few bottles of local bourbon as well. The poppers were delicious and the queso with chorizo was good but it says it is homemade. Being from Texas that means it has actual chorizo in it not hamburger meat with chorizo seasoning. That being said it added just the right amount of flavor to the queso which itself was very good. I ordered the half a rack of ribs, the pork burnt ends, a jalapeno/cheese sausage link, crinkle fries, and hushpuppies. The ribs were a great size and excellent. Easily off the bone, juicy, and had just the right amount of char. The burnt ends were a little dry. The glaze was excellent but once you got inside the meat was drier than it should be. The JC sausage link was just average at best. You could tell it was not handmade and had very little flavor. The crinkle fries were a great addition and excellent. The same can be said for the hushpuppies. We did try all of the sauces and all definitely added to the flavor of whatever we were eating. I stayed away from the beef BBQ for obvious reasons and from what I had I am glad I did. After all of that we added banana pudding for dessert and it was outstanding. I am hard on BBQ places because I eat at so many of them, but this is still a solid place to get some good BBQ with a high recommendation on the ribs. Definitely a great stop when you are...
Read moreMy family and I decided to come here for lunch and the food was bomb. First thing is that I would recommend trying to park across the street in the parking lot with the Five Guys and the liquor store. The actual restaurant's parking is not the best and very limited with parking. Anyway, the food was amazing from the brisket, ribs, jalapeno cheddar sausage, salmon, 1930 Cheesesteak sandwhich and especially the Crispy smoked wings(OMFG)! Mind you that this is the opinion of 5 different people and I like to be a real honest critic of bbq because I love the art of it so much. It's hard for me to find a decent place in Colorado with amazing bbq because everything is so modernized. I personally had the combo plate that's pictured and let me tell you that the mac and cheese and baked beans were fiiirrreee with the proteins I had . Also if you're into alcoholic drinks, my sister and uncle had the "Tropical Smoke Signal and they weren't to crazy over it because the drink was a little sour and weak on alcohol content. My uncle gave the "Bramble On" a try and felt that thang immediately. lol. Overall, we were overly satisfied and the customer service was some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant. Very nice, super knowledgeable about their menu and upbeat. If you do have the chance to come here then I highly recommend it. They have outside seating, a bar and adequate inside seating as well. Make sure you get there at a good time or the wait could be pretty harsh. lol. I hope this review was helpful in and helping you plan out where you want to eat. If there are any questions, ask them and I'll try to give the best answer I can based on my...
