Like Charlotte's own Central Park! Right in the middle of the city with lots to offer. The parking situation leaves a little to be desired, but it is what it is. There are some small parking lots, and I've seen people parked on one side of the street. This gem of a park has gorgeous floral attractions (the pink hydrangeas are swoon-worthy!), a water fixture, sand volleyball courts, basketball and tennis courts, and a playplace (jungle gym, swings, slide, etc.) for the littles. There are areas shaded by large trees, benches for sitting or resting throughout the park, and picnic tables in a few areas. There are also restrooms and water fountains. Read moreThis park is the bomb! It's clean...And how convenient, it's located in the heart of downtown Charlotte. There are two sides to the park. One side with basketball courts, a volleyball court with sand,grills, picnic tables, walking trail, and small beautiful waterfall. Nice for kids birthday or family gatherings.On the other side, there are a couple more picnic tables and grills; plenty of walking room and room to through around a football or frisbee.
