
Third and forth and fifth visits-
Had two visits in one day a few weeks back, and these guys havenāt changed a bit. Every bit as awesome as before! Took my daughter to get a new hoop for her nostril. A couple new faces so nice the last time we were in there-Lalena and Wylie. They were awesome helping her pick the perfect hoop and being super friendly taking time to talk with her. After a brief wait (we walked in without an appointment), A.C.(Glen) was ready for her and changed out her stud for a cute little hoop just in time for homecoming.
The second visit was later in the day for an appointment with A.C. and the amazing Cindy. Sadie greeted me and went over my forms and is every bit as awesome as the last time that I saw her. Wylie and Lalena talked jewelry with me and was awesome to talk toā¦like Iāve known them for years. I saw the amazing Leda was there was told me not to worry it wouldnāt be too bad š as my nerves were shot. Then it was time for visits with AC and Cindy. I had never met AC before, but he was awesomeā¦we talked and had a great time. We swapped rooms and it was Cindyās turn, AC asked if he could observe, which was no big dealā¦come on in, weāre friends now. Cindy was awesome as usual and did an awesome blind transferā¦anyways, sheās awesomeā¦theyāre all awesome.
Few weeks pass and have to have my follow up. Lalena and Alli were taking care of everyone up front. I hadnāt seen Alli in a while, and it was awesome talking to her again. Leda was getting ready for Halloween and had some PokĆ©mon cards for clients. Awesome human being that Leda is. Cindy got my jewelry changing out and was excellent at reminding me to breathe.
Oh I love this place and the people under the roofā¦
Iāll be back, thereās a few more things I need to get doneā¦and Iāll be a customer for life.

This is the place to go for your piercing needs. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Aleta whom I havenāt seen since my prior consult appointment. Riley went over my paperwork and forms with me and got me checked in. I got to observe these fine young ladies give outstanding customer service to everyone who walked in answer questions and going out of their way to make sure everyone was having an outstanding experience. Working in retail myself, I can assure you this type of service is hard to find these daysā¦you can tell they really loved what they were doing and where they worked at.
This was my second time seeing Cindy for piercings. She is the definition of a professional. From answering any questions you have to calming any anxiety, she has you. āTake a deep breath and exhale,ā she says. And thatās it, youāre pierced. Painlessly and quickly.
I canāt say enough great things about Sadu..Iāll be back.
But donāt call them for the cheapest prices, you can go elsewhere if you want the cheapest prices. Call them if you want the best service and care. If you donāt have a great experience there, then youāll likely not find it anywhere.

The whole staff was super friendly and nice. I felt very comfortable the very first time there, as if I had known them for years. But couldnāt get the piercings because our Idās didnāt have the same address due to the fact the she lives with her father full time (because of school). And I donāt carry her birth certificate around with me. In addition, I had scheduled an add on by accident and I called back several times right after scheduling because I wanted to make sure that it was correct. When we got there couldnāt get serviced. Because of the Id my ex husband is was willing to send me a copy of his Id since one concern of the worker was not having his consent. So we called him on the telephone and asked if he could send the copy of his ID. She said the she needed the hard copy. So the appointment had to be canceled. And they still charged me a cancellation fee of $10. It would have been more if I had not made the mistake of doing the add on. God is good. We were on time for a the appointment. But had to wait to be serviced. And when it came time to get serviced we couldnāt. But I had to pay them $10. After talking with a few friends I found out that it was truly a blessing in disguise. All I am gonna say is⦠Donāt get your piercings there! UPDATED RESPONSE TO THE LIES I was not rude. And you all hide behind that telephone policy as a way to justify not answering the phone and to get over on people. If I was rude I would have made a scene and the police probably would have been called. My RUDE is extreme. I questioned your policy and explained that I called back several times with questions but couldn't get and answer regarding the booking. And we showed up WITH THE SAME QUESTION that we tried to call about. If I were a white woman and had the same concerns and questioned your policy. I bet I wouldn't have been labeled as rude. And I am certain that we would have gotten sympathy and serviced. There's an issue when a black woman questions about unfair policies or treatment. She's labeled as rude or the angry black woman. When it is clear from previous reviews that you all in fact have racial biases and run your business the same way. Call me whatever. But I know how we were treated at this establishment. This is a RACIALLY BIASED ESTABLISHMENT.... READ ON THROUGH THE REVIEWS and check Yelp out. And as far as me returning there was no need to ask me not to come back into your establishment. I wasn't going to do that anyway. I don't SUPPORT racially biased establishments that doesn't have welcoming energy. And the only reason my ex-husband has full custody is because she's graduating next year and will be attending college. We didn't want to uproot her from her friends and plus she's so active and is thriving and excelling in her classes. WE WERE ALBE TO GET OUR MOTHER AND DAUGHTER PIERCINGS within 30mins. And we received excellent customer service and felt welcomed where we got them. When I told them about our experience at your establishment. They were very familiar with the same complaints from customers that left SADU for being racially biased and unwelcomed. SO I WILL GLADLY NOT RETURN TO THIS BUSINESS. You all are the manipulators. I went in to find jewelry for an intimate part. Upon going in, there was a number of things concerning about my service, but the more important part was the extreme peer pressure.
Sure, I was relieved to know they did sizings, but I was still very shy about being exposed and have someone analyzing me in this way. I was asked multiple times if I wanted someone to install my new jewelry and SEVERAL TIMES I said āNO.ā We continued and after long, EXTREMELY AWKWARD moments of them basically staring me down until I felt forced to change my decision, they finally say āok, we will get you in for sizing then you can decide.ā Ok, cool. Finally, that SUPER uncomfortable experience was over. I felt so violated. Not to mention, when I was explaining to them my reason for being there, jewelry I already had in, how I got pierced and everything, they were being so judgmental and formulating imaginary problems I didnāt have. Eg. āI can already tell you that some of the problems you are experiencing is because of the curved barbell.ā I love my curved barbells, never complained about the TYPE of jewelry I had; just that I wanted something longer. In fact, Iāve only EVER had pain because of straight ones. Against my better judgment, I continuedā¦
I get in for the sizing and Iām feeling good about my decision to stay instead of leaving earlier, based on what I picked out and the new size. The person who sized me did the same thing as the person who helped me pick out my jewelry. Made up imaginary issues about nothing I complained about. They, too, had asked me if I wanted an installation before we got started - again, I can do it myself. After they size me, they say, āIām just gonna put this ONE in to show you how it works.ā sigh I give a reluctant āokā¦ā
You can probably already guess, they took it upon themselves to do the other tooā¦āwhile Iām at it,ā they say.
I go to get rung up for itā¦and wouldnāt you know they charged me for a service I repeatedly said I DID. NOT. WANT. The entire experience was so unnerving, awkward, and uncomfortable.
The jewelry selection is great. Top-quality stuff. A little over-priced, but they have some goodā¦expertise. Customer service? Aggressive for the sale. I HAVE to go back to get the special jewelry now, but Iāll never let them service me for anything else. I LOVE my new piercings. Of course, because of the straight barbells and emotional manipulation, I am a little sore; but..at least my jewelry is cute andā¦somehow more legitā¦right?
UPDATE AFTER THE OWNER'S BS RESPONSE*
Their response to this is insane on behalf of a business. It had been WEEKS between when I orginally made this post ^^^ and when they responded to my review. Since then, they are acting like they remember me or this interaction. Making sh*t up like I didnāt have my wife with me. Meanwhile, they are trying to corroborate stories like they had more than one person with me in the room. This interaction still haunts me TO THIS DAY since I can't just pop in here to get what I need. Do....
