Went here for superbowl Sunday this past weekend. The place was packed. And I would say probably over capacity which they were completely not prepared for. They have two levels and an outdoor space on both. Had there been room to navigate - I’m sure I would have enjoyed checking it out. When we first walked in, I immediately went to the one bar they had on site. Again, one bar with two levels. The bar was backed up of course with only two bartenders. Eventually, I got to the front of the line . I asked for a band so that I could use the self poor option for the beer wall. After four tries of the staff activating it, the band not working, and me having to go back to get it activated again, I was finally able to get to the poorstation. I would say that 75% of the beers on tap were empty. I was finally able to find one beer that poured. When I went back later to refill, I noticed that my tab was much higher than it should have been. And yet again, I could not find one poor station that had beer in it. I ended up going to the front desk to close out. They did end up, refunding me and charging me only for one beer. Not to mention the food aspect. Not sure if they serve food there but they did have a food truck parked out back that had two people working it that were not the fastest. I waited 40 minutes for six chicken wings. You would think that on Super Bowl Sunday they would be more equipped to handle a large crowd because they were expecting it. And let’s not even mention how horrible parking around the establishment is. They do have their own parking lot with about 10 spaces, but obviously with a large event it filled up quickly. The side street they sit on , can only accommodate one lane of traffic. So people were literally having to back up down the road to accommodate oncoming cars. I am not sure this place is set for large events. It might be cute on a less busy more quiet day. But they do need to get their self poor machines up and running. As well as the wristbands they use, they don’t seem to work properly. I would know this since as I said, I had to go back-and-forth to get it activated and are set up 4 separate times. Also, being charged $35 when I had less than a full glass of...
Read moreThis place has changed DRASTICALLY since it first opened. I hadn't been in a over a year and was disappointed by what it's become. With the old ownership you were greeted with a smile, fun games, working duck pin bowling, great drinks, and clean beer taps that were well serviced, etc. When I went last night it was a totally different vibe, more light a hookah nightclub and we didn't feel welcome. We were patted down extensively by security as if I was at an uptown nightclub on a Saturday night. Worker seemed inconvenienced that we wanted to get wristbands for the beer wall. When I attempted to pour myself a beer the keg was out and foam sprayed out. No big deal. Tried the next beer, same thing. It seemed like we were the only one's in the place using the beer wall. Beer wasn't cold either. Then we went downstairs to try and do some bowling. It was about 8:30pm and it was completely dark down there like it was closed. Someone asked what we needed and eventually turned the lights and the lanes on. They said that we could play for free but couldn't keep the score? Where they used to have a service desk for the games has now been overrun their hookah service. I then tried to get another beer at the lower taps and they still had the caps on them from the night before. Pulled one out and looked very dirty like the lines weren't being serviced/flushed. Then my friend went upstairs and tried 4 different beer taps before finding one that worked and wasn't out or blowing foam. Also on the weekends this place is a complete zoo. The customers block the road by parking on both sides of the side street (Iris), and will drive their cars on the side walk and disc golf course to park. Dangerous when that's a main access road to the large apartment complex behind it. Don't go unless you want a dark hookah bar with lackluster service. It should be called hookah house, not pin...
Read moreThis place changed drastically over the last 12-15 months. What was a cute, lively neighborhood bar with duckpin bowling and various other games to enjoy and their other outstanding offering - a self pour system - have all gone to the wayside. This place is now a straight up nightclub with low lighting, no food, and hookah. Beer aficionados avoid this place at all costs. The system that offers the self serve is not being maintained, nor do the owners/staff care. The products offered are sorely misrepresented and stale /expired (this includes wine) Dirty lines, slime, and dirty glassware add to the yuck. The clientele doesn’t give a glance to these offerings - only the bar. I tried three different beer taps before a fourth one worked - it spit, then the most low tide stank product drooled out. The front staff lady said “smells fine to me!” Lol! That was $2.83 worth of a pour which you’d have to pay me to sip that. I bailed, only to discover my credit card was charged $3.83 for the shot of sludge disguised as Mountain Candy IPA, and then THREE transactions just for breathing the air I guess! $20, the refunded the 20 bucks bc I couldn’t get anything g yo work, the ln again for $20. Wasted time Saturday morning disputing all that bs with my bank. This used to be well lit, and friendly with trivia, food and sports. Now it is 100% a nightclub that doesn’t turn the lights on for the most part. They need to ditch the self-serve system and quit advertising it. And like clockwork, the street that neighbors this establishment is littered with garbage every Monday morning. Sad for those residents that get the cop/fire department show every...
