On May 21, 2025 at 1 PM I went into this establishment where I had eaten once just the week before. I sat at the bar, looked over my menu and awaited for someone to greet me to check to see if I was ready to order or even asked me if I would like a drink. After about ten minutes I had two different servers walked by, look at me in the face, not speak or say a word to me while sitting there, and they proceeded to make drinks as well as cash out the gentleman who sat beside me, whom had already been there and had been served and had finished his food. The dining room was full with other people who did not looked like they had been served and were already eating. To say this was not a racial issue, nevertheless, if I probably had looked like one of them, maybe they would have greeted me nevertheless, until I politely got the attention of one of the ladies servers who stood there looking around the room who had yet to think to come and greet the patron who was just sitting at the bar and had not been serviced, I asked her if she could go get her manager. She came back and stated that the manager was not present, and I let the server know that I had been sitting there, and no one had thought of come and greet me after they looked over me multiple times while standing right in my face at the bar and as well as standing idlely while waiting for other patrons to either need services, but never once Come to service me. Instead of insisting on taking my order right then and there and apologizing, She then asked me if I wanted to leave my name and number for the manager, and I let her know that I was not interested and I also at that point wasn’t interested in the services or the food and that I was disappointed and would never return again. I’m not sure exactly Who is involved in management at this establishment, but anybody who comes through the doors should be greeted equally and within a timely manner. As a server with over five years of experience, if a patron is not greeted at least within the first two minutes, they start to feel unwelcome. I did not feel welcomed in this restaurant and the first time that I came it was very different experience And I hate that this time went the way that it did because the food was...
Read moreI have been coming here for at least 7 years now. Typically once per week. When I come, I get the same exact thing.
Lunch special: 4 steak tacos with corn tortillas, onion and cilantro. Add sour cream on each taco as a garnishment, not a side. Its .50 cents .
The waitress said that I was wrong .
I told her it is in fact .50 cents Who would pay $3.50 for sour cream when the special is $8.95 & This would add 40% to the meal?
I’m so crystal clear about this when I order. Every tiime someone new starts its the same thing. I have to explain it to them and each and every single time I’m challenged.
I asked the waitress to please ask the manager to come to my table. I waited and waited and nothing.
I saw the manager come to the bar in her Hello Kitty shirt instead of a company shirt.
I spoke with her and asked why she didn’t come to my table.. her response was she wasn’t asked to.. The waitress said she did. Someone is lying.
The manager also insisted that it was $3.50 I told her that she was wrong and she said that the pricing must have just changed. I told her that I was just here last Tuesday with my wife. She still was adamant.
I had to tell her to stop ringing in a side and put garnishment instead . After several attempts she finally figured it out and explained it to the waitress.
How annoying. These tacos really need sour cream .
I left without finishing my meal. The steak is constantly over cooked along with the corn tortillas. I ignored this , but now the sour cream thing again has driven me away.
I also saw that the waitress tried to charge a 3 top for 3 premium margaritas when they asked for house. She shook her head like he was wrong. Again the waitress went in the back and the manager didn’t bother coming to speak with these people.
I will not be back .
Also, you make it impossible on your website to reach corporate so you suck as well.
Now you have a negative review.

Read moreThis is by far the best Mexican food I've had here in Charlotte! Everything about my experience stood out as above par: the food was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful , and the staff was amazing!
My husband and I decided to try it out one night while my parents were in town--which is always a risky move-- but it was well worth the risk. We were all extremely satisfied, and each had an amazing meal. All of us are extremely picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food (all being from Southern California), so to leave with all of us being more then excited is really a feat!
We started our meal with a trio of Pico De Gallo, Guacamole, and Queso without Chirozo. Each dish was fresh and unique. And the chips had a flavorful salt on them that only added to the flavor of the dips.
Our server was amazingly helpful with the menu, and very friendly. He explained that each dish could be made vegetarian no problem, so we could easily order anything. I was very excited! He even checked to make sure their mole sauce was vegetarian, which it was! I love mole sauce, but rarely find a place that makes it vegetarian. So, of course I ordered their veggie mole enchiladas! Fantastic choice: full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and an unique pallet.
Between all of us, we ordered Tacos, a Chimichunga, and Carne Asada. None of us were disappointed, and we all already want to go back.
Also, shout out to the best margaritas! No mix, just lime, tequila, and triple sec. I'm pretty sure they go heavier on the triple sec then the tequila and that's why they are a little sweeter then most, but it totally works for them. Strong but sweet drinks: I can already see this being a favorite establishment, and I've only been there once!
Amazing, just...
