Someone from Management needs to contact me ASAP about the service I received from the employee Elijah at the Galleria Blvd Location in Charlotte, NC.
When I went to pay for my food, I laid a $20 bill on the counter. He looked at me and asked...."Have you ever worked in a restaurant before?" If yes, is this "how you pay for your stuff". I said "Yes, it is...why?" He proceeded to tell me that "that is not cool...and it's disrespectful". I then told him that correcting a paying customer on how the proceed with a business transaction is rude and disrespectful. He then proceeded to tell me it was like "him throwing my sandwich and chips at me instead of handing it to me". THEN HE PROCEEDED TO THROW A BAG OF CHIPS AT ME.
He also told me that the days of "the Customer is always right" is not always right these days.
Instead of letting things get more heated....I just walked out. All this was happening in at the same time another employee was sitting to the side and eating her lunch.
Now, I'm not a disrespect person....and I truly try to find the best in people.....but Elijah just showed out for no reason. Perhaps it was a bad day.....or whatever....but he cost the company a sale and is detering a repeat customer.
This is not how you treat a customer. Especially a 40 year old man.....coming from a 17...
Read moreOrdered a Bella Mozzarella foot long on Monday, and drove 20 minutes to pick it up (the subway near my house in Providence Commons has closed). The store was completely empty - one person behind the counter, and one worker sitting at a corner table eating her dinner. The pickup rack had one bag on it with my name on it. As I picked up the bag, the lady behind the counter asked if I had an online order. I nodded and said âthank youâ and she said âyou are welcomeâ as I left.
Come home to discover a messy sandwich missing the main ingredient - mozzarella. Called and was told âthe truck did not give us any todayâ. Ok, why didnât you say something when I picked up the sandwich? Her answer âyou can always add your own cheeseâ. When I pointed out that I could also make my own sandwich, she hung up on me, and refused to pick up when I called again.
To make matters worse, I wrote to Subway, and other than an automated reply, I have heard absolutely nothing.
No thanks, Subway. I will order my sandwich from the deli counter at Harris Teeter or Publix...
Read moreVery unprofessional I placed a digital order. It was marked ready, after 10 minutes of waiting I went inside to retrieve my order. I I was greeted by woman name Shelly. That was supposedly the manager at this location. When I gave her my name and explain my situation, she told me that the app always marks you as ready when I begin to explain to her that I never experienced that she told me sheâs not gonna argue with me and Iâm going to have to wait! She continued to mumble things under her breath, she was very rude and obnoxious. I continued to wait 5 to 10 minutes more. When I noticed that her attitude and posture was aggressive and unwelcoming. I told her to cancel the order. I felt extremely uncomfortable with her handling my food. This is a huge disappointment, because I live in the area and usually have a very pleasant experience at this subway, but will not be returning as long as she is manager of his location, this is a customer based job. If you cannot be polite with customers, you shouldnât work in...
