I was excited to try a new pho spot in the neighborhood, but unfortunately, my experience at Sushi Naru Pho was extremely disappointing—especially when it came to customer service and basic food handling protocols.
I ordered wings and specifically requested all flats, which I was told would be an additional $2. No problem—I paid for it and confirmed my receipt clearly said "all flats." I was told there would be a 20-minute wait, which I was happy to accept, assuming my wings would be cooked fresh to order.
After 20 minutes, my order came out—I went to the car and they were all drumettes. Deep sigh. I calmly brought this to their attention, and although the receipt showed I requested all flats, I was told either:
I didn’t actually pay the upcharge (I did), or
The request wasn’t relayed to the kitchen.
I asked for a remake. At that point, I also asked that they discard the incorrect wings, as they had been outside in my car. Despite my clear concern about food safety, the staff took the wings back to the kitchen instead of discarding them.
I told them this was unsanitary—and was then told I was being difficult.
At that point, I asked for a refund and left with a very poor impression.
Friendly advice to management: if you want to win over new neighborhood customers, respect their order, take food safety seriously, and treat them with basic courtesy when...

The small walls that they put up between tables let people eat in private and to enjoy their food in comfort. They also added more on their menu and to my surprise their quality has been pretty consistent. Their prices are also affordable and they do have premium dishes available as well. So I came by for lunch and got their good old hibachi chicken and wow is this the best one I tasted in a very long time. I also ordered their fruit teas and it was good in my opinion. I do not have a favorite place when it comes to bubble tea and milk teas because they all taste pretty similar. I think what stands out most with those places is the new variety of flavor and mixes that they offer but if the quality stays consistent this place passes in my book. As an Asian American I would recommend this place to anybody. If this place was in a better location it will be swamp with customers so I decided to leave a review for everybody to see to help promote their business. Stop by for lunch or anytime during the day. They offer friendly service quality food at competitive prices and it’s definitely better than making fast food chains as your...
Read moreWow, this place is sooo good. First off, the customer service was great! Very kind and knowledgeable staff. I got chicken and shrimp hibachi with the naru fruit tea. I would give both a 10/10. Portion sizes are pretty big. The chicken and shrimp were juicy and paired well with the fried rice. We also asked for extra shrimp sauce which took it over the top. I added extra sweetener to the naru fruit tea and omg. I’m going to have to resist the urge to go back there every week to get that very thing. It’s the perfect summer drink! My boyfriend and his mom got hibachi steak/shrimp with the Korean fried chicken wings. They said the korean fried wings were good! The only complaint was that the steak in the hibachi was chewy and had more fat than they would’ve liked, but I don’t eat steak so I didn’t have this problem. I really enjoyed my experience. Their menu is extensive so I’ll...
