Tortillería Elizabeth — Restaurant in Charlotte

Honestly, I do not leave reviews. But I said I’m going to leave one for this restaurant. The tortillas are amazing. Very authentic, very fresh. The food overall is pretty good and a great variety! HOWEVER, when it was my turn to order on my very last day coming to this establishment…I told the server in these exact words “beans and rice w/ gravy.” That was it and that was all. Instead of the server saying she could not understand English…she yelled to the person who was working the front to come and help and skipped right over me to the next Spanish speaking customer. I was on my lunch and it was a line so I was already waiting patiently. UNPROFESSIONAL on ALL LEVELS. And I felt highly disrespected. I wish I didn’t have to give a star just my opinion it was my first time here I was nervous before so I never tried them out but yesterday I did. I had no clue the layout is basically Hot kitchen ,I’m trying to ask the guy that’s serving if they make tacos or they have steak he just starts yelling at me in Spanish and the last thing he said was no English not only that the server and the line of ppl were rushing me to hurry up and choose something like dang ! I came across this place by chance and decided to check it out. The food is okay, but the customer service is mediocre. The man who checked me out was very kind, but the woman making our plates had a nasty attitude upon taking our order. For my first time there, my experience was very unpleasant and I have no desire to go back. I do take into consideration the language barrier, but as a first time customer (or any customer), the customer service was unacceptable. I was very patient with her and expected the same in return.
