The worst customer service ever. We waited, waited, and waited for breakfast while one of the employees sat there on her computer doing nothing. She knew us and another individual were standing there waiting and she did nothing about it. Then, when another staff member finally came out and asked us what we would like, she yelled at me and said she could only do one thing at a time and gave a serious attitude. Why did you ask what we wanted then?? Then, my child ran around the corner to get some water (of which they did not have any restocked cups...although an employee was sitting right there - why put water out if you’re not going to keep up on restocking cups???), he drank directly from the spigot (this happened within a matter of seconds - he is a toddler). The employee who was just sitting there then finally got up and came over to yell at me and said to “watch my kids.” Where was she when we were standing there forever wait for food? Or, if she saw my child trying to get water, why didn’t she come over and tell him she would go get him a cup?? There are so many better ways to handle that situation. My toddler did not know better and instead of berating/yelling at me to “watch my children,” she could have simply informed me, apologized for the lack of cups, and given us some. Instead, she took the entire dispenser away, glared at me, and again told me to watch my children. When I spoke to the manager, he was extremely dismissive, seemed annoyed at my feedback/situation, kept interrupting/talking over me while I was trying to calmly explain, and told him my child should not be drinking from the spigot. Yes I know this!!! Did he think I wanted him to do that?? It’s disgusting and a concern for his health - It was an accident by a child!!!! The manager was highly unprofessional and rude. Avoid this hotel if you can - the worst customer service and awful experience. I would hope this manager and staff would learn from an experience like this, but it seems they are more interested in blaming...

Read moreSo overall the stay was just decent. And after this experience I will start doing more research before booking another hotel. So here is my take on things. When I arrived it was after 11pm. The lobby doors were locked. But there was a lobby assistant standing at the front counter. She could see me but she apparently was too busy to let me as soon as she saw me. I didn't even realize I had to hit a buzzer to get in. I did hit it but, I really didn't have to because the assistant saw me standing at the door. After a minute or 2 she walked over to let me in. I walked to the counter to let her know I had a reservation. She was glued to her computer. No friendly welcome. Just the 1 minute finger. She apparently had to finish up something else first. Ok! Then another guest walked up and the assistant began speaking with them. I guess that's the reason she couldn't talk to me at the moment. So after she finished up with the guest I was finally checked in. Great! My husband asked if this was a good hotel because from the outside it looked a bit rundown. The landscaping looked bad. Bushes and grass were overgrown. Screen door were hanging off. It just looked questionable. The room appeared ok at first. Bathroom and the bed sheets were clean. But then after looking around the room was a bit nasty. I have pictures. The dresser door for the fridge was filthy. There was food still in the fridge. There some kind of snot substance on the wall. The couch had a crusty stain. It was icky. Since it was so late, I didn't bother with having someone clean. I'm sure they would have accommodated me if I asked. The location of the room was facing a main hwy. I was awaking by loud cars and motorcycles at 7am. That wasn't cool. And to add on to that my room was right by the elevator. But lobby was gorgeous. The room bathroom looked newly renovated with nice fixtures. But I would pay a little more to stay somewhere...
