Vi Nails — Local services in Charlotte

This salon is an ABSOLUTE scam!!!!!! They are closing down for good and I now see first hand why. They tried to inflate prices due to knowing that they are closing down. Had no real nail color selection, salon looked unkempt and ran down. Even the display of nail art looked like my 9 year old placed rhinestones onto tips. Owner was unpleasant and couldn’t be bothered. Went in for a fill in and a pedi. Ended up getting my daughter a pedi as well with a polish change and she tried to tell me that should cost $145 dollars. With a fill for me being 65 dollars of that!!!! Tried to say because my nails are “long”. Don’t get it twisted money wasn’t the issue, I don’t mind paying for quality. And I normally do so at my normal salon, but due to everything going on my normal salon is closed, so I tried to give a smaller business a chance. Instantly regretted it. Should have known they were jenky when the form of payment had to be VENMO. Couldn’t even take payment like a normal working business. Would be willing to bet the technicians they had in there were not properly licensed that’s why they could not conduct business properly. Paid for the rather mediocre pedicure...(she didn’t even scrub my feet, and started out the pedi by splashing herself in the eye with callous remover...should have known something was off at that point) Worst experience EVER. Left without my nails done and luckily found a wonderful gem of a salon where they did my nails BEAUTIFULLY and were completely mortified at what I had just experienced. Nail community is very small and they all love to speak on each other, not the first time they’ve heard horror stories about this place, already found out who the owner is and she can bet her bottom dollar if she EVER thinks about opening another salon I will be sure to let anyone I can know not to go, poor behavior like this starts...

So yesterday was my first experience here. It was absolutely amazing. I went in expecting to pay at least $250..... I DID NO SUCH THING. so let me give you a break down

$50- fill-in, two nails repaired, gel polish $40- deluxe pedicure gel polish $10- brows waxed and look fukkn awesome (excuse the language) I also went in wanting my lashes done. but the owner (or I think she was) was so brutality honest in tell me NO. Her tone was horrible but she was passionate about what she was saying and absolutely meant that I did not need lashes. It gave me more confidence than I already had.

Not to mention, I not only paid for my services, I also treated my cousin, who absolutely needed a day off. $40.

So in total I paid $140 for services on 2 people. Moral of the Story: GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT BUSINESS,...

I went into vi nails because it was close to where I’m staying and had the best reviews in the area. Didn’t expect much, it’s a neighborhood nail salon, but I left with high end nails probably the best manicure I’ve ever had. The prices seemed at bit high to me at first, for the shop but….These ladies DELIVERED.

I had to wait a bit since it was a Saturday and I walked in. The application took longer than it has in the past but omg, it’s stunning. Art takes time. Got my nails done 3 days ago and they’re still looking brand new. The shops decor was a little dated, but they had the warmest most friendly vibe. But was very clean and sanitary, 10/10...
