I ordered from here through GrubHub and received the wrong sides and beverages. I contacted GrubHub to see if they could notify the restaurant about the mix up, I did not ask for a refund and I did not want redelivery. GrubHub still issued a refund and minutes later I received a very angry and belligerent phone call from a woman at the restaurant. She claimed that she gave the correct order and that I was trying to cheat them. She then demanded that I reimburse the refund GrubHub issued and that I give my credit card information to her over the phone. I told her that I was not going to do that and to talk to GrubHub and she said she would call law enforcement on me because I was committing fraud if I did not return the food. What kind of customer service is that?? She never apologized or danced with the idea that she made a mistake and I hung up while she was still yelling at me. I was called many times after that by numerous numbers and she even sent her driver back to my home about 45 minutes later. I did not answer the door and soon after the police called and I explained everything. I had the food as proof, my receipt, GrubHub transcripts from customer service (they were also being shady by not providing me with a copy of MY transcripted conversation), the log of crazy phone calls and a voicemail from the someone at the restaurant. I didn’t ask for a refund but after all of that I was glad I got one, I had even tipped the driver in advance when I placed my order and he sadly didn’t make any money on the 2 trips he had to make to my home. Read moreI order very often from here as I live close by I have spent several hundred dollars here in a very short time. I always tip well and always get delivery. The orders always consist of in part, a Spicy Tuna Roll and generally I ask for additional ingredients, specifically avocado and cream cheese which I am willing to pay additional for. However each time this order comes what I get is a slice of tuna with avocado and cream cheese. When I called to ask about this I was told the spicy part is only a sauce with a slice of tuna. However when I order just spicy tuna I get the traditional minced tuna. Since the food was good I continued to order from here. Yesterday I tried to place an order which included the lunch special which they state in writing is from 10:30-4:00. When I called was prior to 4:00 yet I was told it was too close to 4:00 to order. I asked for a manager and was told that Carie would be in tomorrow to call then. Today I called Carie. I tried to explain in very simple terms what my issue was with the Spicy Tuna. She told me that she couldn't understand me, the spicy tuna was always finely chopped and told me not to order from there anymore to call someone else. I was shocked. I was never able to inquire about the lunch specials before she hung up on me. I called back and told her that I had spent hundreds there in about 2 months (verified through my online order history), and that I would no longer order from there. Read moreWe order from Asian Express approximately once every three weeks. Every other order it seems we have an issue. Usually, it's just that it takes 1.5h for our order to be ready instead of 45m as promised, so we have started ordering earlier and waiting to pick up the food which has alleviated some of these issues.
Most recently - they completely messed up our order. As in- gave us the wrong sushi even though the bag was correctly labeled. When we called to report the issue, they offered to deliver us a new order but this would have taken 45+m. We asked that they credit us on the incorrect order and we assured them we would continue to order from them. She responded she couldn't credit us as it was a big order ($87). She then offered a partial refund and stated it wasn't her fault since she was not present when the order was prepared. We accepted the partial refund. We will not be ordering from them again.
