Their office is a mess. I requested a copy of a CD with my MRI images on it- they said I'd be able to pick it up on my way out of the office. Person at the window says it's not ready yet, can they mail it my house? I say sure, that's fine. 2 weeks later after hearing nothing, I call and they tell me actually the images haven't been reviewed yet (no idea how they expected me to be able to take it home day of if they couldn't be bothered to look at it until I called them and pressed them for information). After being passed around to multiple people, they have me sign a medical release form- I sign it, scan it in, they confirm they will be sending it. A few days later, I get a call from FedEx that it's been delivered to the wrong house. I checked the form I filled out and to make sure it was not a mistake on my end- no, I wrote it down correctly. It is also is correct on MyChart. So now some random person has my medical records, and I just have to wait and see if and when I actually get the test results I need for my upcoming brain surgery! I'm super disappointed because when I went in I was expecting great care from UVA. Really a bummer, especially on top of the stress of dealing with impending surgery. It should also be mentioned that I had to wait forever to get into my MRI. They just left me sitting there in an empty room in a hospital gown for a solid...
Read morePlease stray far away from Dr. Park and his so-called RFA ablation. This procedure IS NOT covered by 99% of healthcare insurance companies in the United States. The average cost of this procedure is anywhere from $11,000 to $22,000. We were quoted $22,000 from the hospitals billing department. Dr. Park and the UVA radiology department also are slow as molasses in planning and coordinating anything. There administration workers are like slugs and unresponsive. In addition, my wife was told this RFA procedure would be done, was scheduled and then a week before the actual procedure, it was canceled. Dr. Park also violates privacy regulations by using his personal email (a gmail account) and uses text messaging. Do not waste your time going to UVA and trying this procedure. You'd be better off flying to Korea and having the procedure done. In fact, doing so would be cheaper than...

I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a diagnostic mammogram and I hope all you ladies ... and men ... that need to get any type of mammogram ... get...
