Integral Yoga Natural Foods — Restaurant in Charlottesville

I love this grocery store, but I am giving only three stars because the customer service from Chris the check out clerk Is way below par. I regularly come to the grocery store about once a week and every time he has checked me out I’ve been disappointed with the level of customer service from him. Today I said “hello” as I put my items on the belt and I got no response from him. I would check this up to maybe he didn’t hear me but i’ve gotten this response before. He doesn’t seem to make any effort to make eye contact or engage with a customer in anyway. As a customer it makes me feel like I am imposing on him by ringing up my groceries. I don’t want him fired I just would like to pass this feedback to him that as the point person in the store he has a big impact on my experience as a customer. Again I love this grocery store and the service it provides...

This 'shop' needs to change their name to 'NahtZee Natural Foods'... Very unfriendly staff and they treat you as though they are doing you a favor by letting you shop there. The prices are shamefully high (unless you happen to have your 15% discount coupon.) Add to that the fact that the 'Mask Mandate' is so yesterday but the NahtZee Staff will not serve you without a mask.. Of all places, this shop should be celebrating good health and strengthening the immune system. So sad to see this unconscious behaviour. Predicting the eventual demise of this poorly run...

I just found this place in town and I’m very happy about it. I used to only go to Rebeccas, but I’ve always felt that Rebeccas was more of a supplement store than a natural foods store. Anyway, it reminded me a lot of the natural foods stores I would go to in California when I was young. Lots of local foods which is always good, and my boyfriend and I were able to find spices which we previously couldn’t find before. Overall, a neat place. I will probably go there for my produce...
