-Great staff! -Right off the road and cute patio. -Affordable and filling. ‐-------------- Ratings below are on a 10pt scale ‐----------- Day 1 Street tacos: Tinga chicken tacos (9/10 ) Flavorful chicken Steak tacos (6.7/10) Not as flavorful as I had expected and wanted. But easy to chew and with the different sauces you can get at the serve yourself station, the sauces made the steak tacos better.

Empanadas : lenuga and regular chicken -general score (6.5/10) Very filling but not rich in flavor. Meat was very easy to chew and empanadas were fun to eat (size and texture) but the lack of flavor was a significant draw back.

Tamarindo drink ( 7.5/10) A little watered down but hit the spot. ‐-------------- Days 2 Not pictured but following days returned to try : Chicharrones con guacamole for pickup (9.5/10) I went home & airfried them on 400 degrees F for 20mins before eating them (bc...pork). After eating them, I understood why they are sold out DAILY. Very savory and delightful. Only lost 0.5 bc of me having to fry inside a little longer.

Churros (10/10)...magical. Perfect crunch, texture and my new addiction.

Pork papusas (8/10) Papusas don't have wild and adventurous flavor to begin with, but i was curious. Given my historical experiences with papusas these were good.

I will be a regular here and will try as many options as possible. Definitely worth returning I'd wager their sopas are probably to die for.

This place is a gem and worth trying. To my knowledge they don't sell alcoholic bevies for those interested. But the food for sure is a win -especially compared to other places I've tried in the area.

Day 3 not pictured TORTA MICHOACANA (11/10). Delicious one day ill update with a picture. Got it 2 days in a row. Hearty, packed with rich and savory...

The food is wonderful, come and try it for yourself. I’ve thought long and hard about this review, and decided to share my experiences nonetheless. I came in and ordered the orden tacos and soup + the chicharron.

It was my first time trying the chicharron, I wasn’t expecting it to be as hard as it was. I must have swallowed a piece and started choking, and couldn’t stop or breathe. The restaurant is a small-ish space, I was right in front of the guy that took my order and he stayed on his phone the entire time. I literally couldn’t breathe, let alone ask for water. I eventually decided staying inside wasn’t the best idea, and limped over to their outside dining space where it took me a while to hack up what was blocking my airway then make my way over to the car for something to drink. This guy was a savage, never looked up, not one time.

On top of that, they gave me someone else’s order. I think that was the icing on top and the catalyst for leaving my review. I called the restaurant back and they issued me a refund for the incorrect items, I also did in fact finish the bag of chicharrons once I knew what I was getting myself into. When all is said and done, I won’t be back for a while. Y’all are too...

One of my favorite restaurants - if not my #1. You choose a dish and then select from a variety of deliciously seasoned meats. Pastor, marinated pork, is my favorite and my family loves it as well. We also typically get the chicken and carne asada steak. The chorizo is good but is often too salty for us - the habanero marinated pork is good but sometimes it's too hot so we stick to the basics. I typically get the Flautas or the Mexican-style tacos. The family enjoys both but also gets the nachos, empanadas, gorditas (not what TB has) and have been trying various other items as it's difficult to go wrong here. They also have a selection of four salsas - our favorite is the guacamole salsa when it's proportioned correctly - sometimes it's mixed with too much green salsa - otherwise, it's great. Amazing restaurant - excellent and unique but authentic and familiar flavors - meat, beans, rice etc - all very tasty. The front desk is run by a friendly, humble guy - I believe he's owner/part owner. Currently this is the only location but they are opening another - in Waynesboro, I...

When you first walk into La Michoacana, it gives off serious hole-in-the-wall vibes. The inside isn’t much to look at—honestly, I wasn’t even sure I wanted to stay and eat. It feels more like a no-frills spot where you hope the food makes up for the setting. And it absolutely does. The guacamole was smooth, fresh, and had a great garlicky punch. Their tacos are the real deal—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. I especially loved the cabrito and barbacoa. The fried chicharrones? Unreal. Crispy, salty, and great with a splash of vinegar or a swipe of avocado. The burrito they handed me could’ve doubled as a small log. I barely made a dent in it before I had to take the rest home. Bottom line: the food is A+, no question. Next time I’ll probably do takeout just because the atmosphere isn’t really my vibe—but for flavor and quality? This place is a gem.

Flavorful food you go back for. Stumbled upon it with a full parking lot of patrons and came back after running my errands. To sample the food I ordered a burrito with two types of proteins. While waiting I ordered quesadillas for tomorrow! Good choices! Good portion sizes and lots of protein. Their hot sauce is exactly that, too. Sadly, the burrito and quesadillas did not have the flavor I expected with some spice and seasoning. Hope to eat there again sometime soon and will ask them to spice and flavor the orders. Total for two very generous entrees was about $25. I would say the food presentation is more tradtional than corporate.
