This is so great that after my first trip 2 weeks ago, I signed up for a season pass. Have done the two longer trips since then, and am totally hooked. Staff is cheerful, knowledgeable, helpful, and well-organized; everything you would hope they would be. All the gear is in excellent shape, and as for the river I have been astounded on every trip how I've been totally surrounded by nature and river wildlife that seems not to notice me until I'm up pretty close. The two longer trips have various rapids that have a different ways to get through, so I've been able to take a bit more challenging routes each time. This probably sounds like I'm a friend of the family or something, but I had never even heard of them until I was looking for something to do two weeks ago. I came to visit from the D.C. area and it was so worth it! My friend and I got there early and was able to make a booking within the hour. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They gave us a thorough explanation of what to expect with the use of pictures. This was super helpful and made the experience one free from stress and worry. The parking was easy and the shuttle to and from the starting destination was quick and convenient. The river was beautiful and there was so many things to see and places to stop along the way. We were even able to see a blue heron! For someone who does not kayak frequently, it was equally fun and challenging.

Special shout out to Stan who sat and talked with us as we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. He was the definition of warm and welcoming! On our shuttle ride back, he gave us food recommendations and told us about the farmers market that we passed. An amazing...

If your a total African American group I don’t recommend we went yesterday and tubed ww were told it was no shuttle and we needed to be picked up after we finished only to find a bus to bus all the Caucasian people getting out of the river at the end I guess its a no blacks on the bus company the river was nice and a worker apologized several times Thanks to him but my sister ended up not tubing and waiting 2 hours so we could have a ride back interesting you keep talking about price never did we ask for a discount and also interesting that the tubers were behind us but if this is ur reasoning for not offering the same services as you do ur caucasian customers so be it the river was great the service was not but tje world isn't fair and being a black woman I...
