This was my second time here and last! Tuesday night, long line. I observed many people ahead of us were asking for samples. I don't blame them, the list of choices are not your common flavors. It is nice that the sign does say "free samples", but let me tell you they young woman on the other side of the window does NOT like her job. By the time we approached, I politely asked for 3 samples (one for each of us, my husband, my granddaughter and me). The young woman glared at us, whispered something to the older female coworker. She did give me the samples, but one of the flavors was incorrect. Boy was that difficult for her to give me the correct flavor I asked for. We made our choices and ordered our ice cream. I did ask what her name was because it was clear she had no idea she was in the customer service industry. She refused to tell me. What does that tell you, Emily? She was very inconvenienced having to take our order. I even felt the need to watch them put our order together for fear they might do something with our ice cream. Go figure! Even my granddaughter (10 years old) said the young woman needs to be kinder! So Emily (the owner) if you are reading this we will never come back. I am sure that I am not alone in feeling disgruntled having to give my ice cream order to your employees! Yes you have unique flavors, but the ice cream has a standard flavor, at best. We seem to have caught them on a bad day. Only two people were staffed on a busy Sunday and holiday weekend. The employee at the register was polite and let us know the wait would be long.
