This location had the potential to be nominated as the worst staff at a fast food restaurant. There is a statewide order on wearing masks and I must stress "wear them properly with both the mouth and nose covered". This particularly applies to places like this where there is lot of human traffic. Some of the staff was noted to wearing the mask below the nose during my numerous visits to this location. One on occasion, when politely pointing out the flaw, excuses were rendered, frowning followed and then the customer was told " If you do not like the way we wear masks, do not come here". Excellent response I suppose from someone who has no idea that they are putting themselves at risk much before anyone else. The ordered was delivered and the window slammed on the customer. The management should seriously look at the security cam footage and then learn from what is going on at this location. This is simply unacceptable irresponsible and unprofessional behavior. A serious intervention at the part of the management is needed. I have the entire ordeal on dash cam also if anyone is interested and their own cameras are not working. I mean someone has to point it out and speak and not be bogged down. ALL LIVES MATTER! Honestly, this is not the only issue here. Read moreCustomer service was appalling. My wife and I were in Charlottesville for parents’ weekend and staying in hotel across street. We hardly ever do a McDonalds run however the lateness of the hour limited our choices. We opted to walk across the street for a burger and drink. All doors were locked at 11:00 pm despite sign indicating lobby hours were till 12:00am. We walked to the drive thru (after repeated attempts to get staff to talk with us) and inquired as to early closure. We were inform we could not stand in drive thru and they would not speak with us while there (note: there were no cars present). We asked to speak with manager to explain early cancellation and was told no manager on duty. When car pulled up the screaming started (both attendant and driver at my wife and me). We were told, in very unprofessional terms, we would not be served and must return when lobby was open. I can understand some frustrations exists in a college town but we were sober, middle aged parents. At the very least, I would expect lack of a food manager let alone an arbitrary decision to “close early” likely is addressed in franchise agreement. Read moreProceeded to order two mc crispy tender meals. And a chicken nugget meal. One came with a large sweet tea and other with a strawberry smoothie. Cashier accidentally added an extra meal. I let him know that I only wanted 3 in total. He said “I’ll figure it out at the window” or something along those lines. When I pulled I told him I only wanted 3 meals in total and he said “okay I think I got it.” And when I was handed my receipt there were 4 meals. I didn’t feel like arguing anymore so we pulled up. Revived the correct drinks. Then the person in the front (also very rude) told us that it would be a wait on the chicken to pull up so we did so. Waited for like 10-15 minutes and revived the wrong order. Same guy at the window first stopped by the car beside us and asked if it was their meal. They said no so he then walked by our vehicle didn’t say a single word. I said thank you. He just looked right at me and walked off. Usually there’s better friendlier staff here.
