Drive thru attendant was very rude. I ordered a chocolate shake with a meal for my disabled brother. When she handed me the shake it was thin and you could see the chocolate syrup all in the bottom barely stirred. I asked her if she would mix it some more. She said no, that it couldn't be stirred anymore,. "I'll give you a spoon." then she slammed drive thru window while I was trying to tell her that the shake was to thin to eat with spoon. So I drove around building went inside to get another shake. I wasn't going to give that to my brother. The manager came to counter and ask me what I needed. I told her how the worker acted, and shower her the half blended watery shake. She looked at me and said" what do you want" I said another shake, I can't give this to my disabled brother! So she commenced to putting it into the mixer and made me wait while she overblended the 2 nd shake .She handed it to me , it was more watery than the first one. I just looked at her and she said when you mix it that much it's thin, I said well you need to put more ice cream in it . She said no it would just end up like that. I said well y'all need to fix it because the quality of shake isn't right. I left because I came to the conclusion that these people weren't going to fix problem regardless. I've never felt so aggravated over food in my life. The burgers and onion rings were like warm as well. Needless to say I'll never get food from the Burger King on Brainard road in East Ridge, Chattanooga Tennessee. I even thought about slinging it all over the entrance, but I'm not that kind of person. I did throw it out and went to Sonic's for a shake and hot food. What's sad is my family and I love Burger King and now everytime I see one now, I just get disgusted with what happened. It's a nice new building, new style, modern inside. Ordering was a bit of a challenge right off as the person taking our order at the counter was very confused, kind of out of it to be quite frank, which it seemed like they were on something but were possibly just new? It was very uncomfortable. Another person quickly stepped in when they saw my look of surprise, I'm sure, quickly correcting what she had punched in. I appreciated that. Hope the person initially taking our order gets better in time. My biggest issue is the cost of the two meals, and the sandwiches sure didn't match the posters plastered all over the place that draw you in. It was over $30.00 dollars for a regular sized meal and an upsized meal, which the fries are barely larger than the regular sized. We had the new featured Whopper sandwiches that again didn't look at all like what we ordered and very little of it except for two huge over ripe tomato slices that I had to remove from my sandwich because i can't eat a non-fresh tomato slice. So, two burgers. One small and one little bit larger fry. One small and one large drink. $30 bucks and change. Food wasn't that great. Crazy. Won't make that...
Read moreAs soon as we walked in the door, we had to walk more careful than usual as not to fall considering the floors were EXTREMELY slick from someone mopping the floor but that was only the start of our awful experience... So, aside from the fact that the fountain drink dispensing area (as well as the napkin dispenser) was sticky from an inadequate job wiping up a spill, I had mold from the inside of the ice machine come out into my cup while getting the ice. As my husband approached the manager and made him aware of the problem, the solution he was granted was absolutely no apology, nor an explanation,... just another cup and the expectation to go back to the same ice machine to retrieve my ice and drink without so much as a word. The food order was correct but even when our receipt number was called to retrieve our food, the employee didn't say a word then either seems as though they aren't really emphasizing the greetings in customer service training or proper cleaning procedures.
