If I could rate this place with a negative rating I would, only reason it got one is because you have to do at least one to leave a rating. To start we came through the drive thru on our lunch break, we ordered 3 combo meals. On our way back to work, my coworker was eating his sandwich and about the third bite in he started gagging. Well he was trying to get whatever it was up, I was trying to get to the side of the road before he vomited. Well guess what? Yeah, he ended up vomiting all over the front seats, dash, carpet, and the smell OMG. Well it ended up being a long hair in the sandwich. Well I couldn't find Number, after several route's I finally found the number, which was absolutely no help, because it rang repeatedly with no answer. Well now my car is being detailed and cleaned because of the ogre and the nasty puke. So I walked a mile and a half from the location where it's being detail to cookout the location where I purchased my meal! I requested to speak to Commander explain to him what had gone on and that I tried to contact them, and his response to the phone number thing was that they don't give their number to the public. After you explain everything to him he told me to hold on one moment, after returning, he explained that he had called his general manager and that they gave me a cup with a 1-800 number on it to call the corporate office. after doing so I've got to get a response from them or general manager or the owner of this franchise at this location. So at this point I am out 20 backstory do meals, as well as $100 to have my car detailed! I understand accidents happen, but there are ways to prevent accidents, such as hair nets gloves things of this nature. But what he has made me very upset, is the fact that management is not concerned about their customers worry and what happened to them. as well as the fact that they are out quite of an expense because of the negligence at his franchise. Now I am at this location at the moment, and have been waiting for someone to contact me back, which has not happened. So at this point, I am about ready to go make up a time, stand out there door making people aware of what this tranche eyes has and what to look forward to in your experience at this location. So I don't want to do this, I am an adult and would like to resolve this as an adult. But if it's not a concern of theirs that I am out this expense, then maybe he will react when it's causing him to lose money at his expense because that's what's going to happen if I stand out there and deter people from coming...
Read moreSo I went to this cookout on Brainerd Road the first issue is I called the number that's online they verified it is the correct number however I call this number and it rang and rang and rang I tried to call this number to call in a large order for our office since 12:30 p.m. they never answer the phone and I tried up until 2 p.m. so that point I just drove up there it was very frustrating because it is a lunch break and it would have been easier to be able to just call it in and pick it up so when I do get there this poor girl at the front is taking orders and I'm not really sure how it works back on the back but I do know because of what she said she is making all the shakes herself she is getting together all the food at lunch time she really shouldn't be leaving the counter it is sad that she has to take all these orders and then she has to gather them all up bag them all up and make all of their shakes all herself you have people getting angry because she wasn't taking the orders however she can't really do that if she's having to bag all this orders the front dining room was not even busy it was just the fact that she had to do it all herself there should have been some help at the front counter your register person taking orders should not have left the counter there were people angry at her because they were having to wait to even Place their order however she couldn't do that if she was having to bag all of the orders and make all this shakes from the order she took herself your front counter person should not be leaving ...management should really step up and give...
Read moreThis location has really gone downhill since I started coming here over five years ago. The food is still good, which is obviously one of the most important aspects about Cook-Out, and being a late-night dining option they primarily focus on their drive-thru. That being said, it feels like they've completely lost their focus on their dine-in customers as well as maintaining the location itself. The parking lot and drive-thru area are in what I would consider poor shape, with a few areas where the concrete dips, almost like an inverted speed bump. The menu boards along the drive-thru are also dimly or just flat out not backlit, which makes ordering just a bit harder. The "No Loitering" signs don't usually deter people from loitering in the dining area and around the building, and college students often become rowdy within the dining area late at night.
It's not to say that this location is bad because of any one of those things, but what's ended up happening is it seems like no one is taking charge and keeping this place up and running. I often only use the drive-thru now because the service inside is slow and the soda fountains are broken or poorly maintained. Tables are rarely cleaned and they certainly haven't been replaced anytime recently, and the lights inside are less than inviting. I remember this location as being a much nicer dine-in option that just happened to be open late at night, with service that rivaled the likes of Chick-fil-A. Now you're lucky if it's anything like Waffle House at 3 a.m., which...
