I'll start by saying, the food is good. As far as the plate I've got both times. There is more than plenty. But....not worth almost $15 for thr basic food I ordered. This is my 2nd time eating here and sadly, it will be my last. The 1st time I went I got the same as this time. Egg drop soup with Veggie Lo Mein. Both times, the food has been hot, freshly cooked and tasted good. I did, get 2 spring rolls this time. Here's one of the issues. Just like the last time. I was charged almost $15. The 1st time. I thought maybe it was because I got the large egg drop soup. So, tonight I looked at the menu and prices, again. It plainly states the small soup is $1.25 & the plate is like $4.25 or $4.50. So I figured ok yes, I was over charged last time. I sent my daughter to get it. She comes back, hands me my receipt. I'm charged $14.25 again.... I ask her if she ask the lady why it was so high. She said the lady just kept saying price is right. I was livid. This ain't a game show! I know inflation is a bishhhh right now but that's crazy. I could have simply drove 2 miles up and went to Chef Lin and paid by the pound and got a little of everything from the buffet for the amount I paid, again for these simple dishes which I'll do from now on. If they are going to charge people that much money. They should list the correct prices on their menu. Otherwise, that's false advertising... so again, as good as the food is, yes it's cooked to order apparently and that's wonderful. But it's the over charging or not being professional enough to update their charges on the menu. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice. Shame on me. So no...no more.
Also, the spring roll exterior was crunchy and good. Inside was too much. Like it had goo or something. Not sure what it was. I'm a huge Chinese food kind of person. I've never had a spring...
Read moreThe woman had a bad attitude. I now just found a hair in my food mid bite. We will never eat here again. All because I didn’t tip. She doesn’t understand my situation at all. I say that because she gave me the worst look after looking at the receipt I gave back to her. Beyond pissed. If there was a no star I’d give it. Me and my husband were loyal customers and always tipped up until now. We found this place in 2020 when the pandemic closed most places. We were just happy to find something good.
I got the combination lo mein. Absolutely disgusting 🤢 she took longer than normal when I was the only one in line. Now I know why. Spend 12.90 for me to have to pull a hair out of my food.
Update at 8:19 I called and she stated that she doesn’t know. She said which one . I explained the combination lo mein and she hung up and won’t answer the phone now. So unprofessional.
Another update since my blood is boiling: I called at 9:24 and she stated she can do it tonight only if I come back there and make it by 9:30 . She just kept repeating tonight only. Tonight....
Read moreMuch to my surprise, the food was good. So, we were in town visiting when we had a need for Chinese. Found this place by mistake. I love hole in the wall places. They were rated pretty well. 4 for a neighborhood Chinese is like a 5 plus. We don't have one in ours anymore, so this was a nice find. I tried to walk in and order but had to go to the drive up window to order. Hum, strange but whatever. Maybe do to covid. Safety. Who knows. Well, I ordered and had to park in the parking lot to wait for the food. It felt like a long wait. That was my only issue. Once I got home and opened the bag, everything I ordered was there, and the amount was huge. The taste was good. Nothing a little soy sauce couldn't fix. Hunan beef, General Tso, and some spring rolls. All was good, and there was plenty of leftovers. I would...
